Would the projector keep shutting off if my bulb needs to be replaced?

My projector continuously shuts down after being on for less then a few minutes or less. The lights that flash are red and orange which according to the manual says that it is of heated (flashing red and orange lights). Could this be due to the bulb needing to be changed or is there something else wrong with my projector?
Asked by: Confused1
My AF115 started doing this suddenly and I was skeptical that a bulb was the problem. But I ordered a replacement from the recommended retailer MCM Electronics. Just installed the bulb today 1-23-15, this did indeed fix my projector and wow I forgot how bright it was new (still looked good with the old bulb too though). The bulb I received from MCM was a Philips bulb just like the OEM. Original bulb lasted for 3700 hours if anyone is curious.

Trouble Displaying 1080p 60hz with AMD Raedom HD 7900 Series

I am unable to display to 1080p 60hz to my AF115. However, 1080p at 30hz works. I am able to display that resolution to my monitors, so i know its not a cable or graphics card issue. Another note, when i do hook up the projector to my laptop, that resolution does work. I am stumped.
