What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color quality is really good This is really good projector, small, easy to use. Only one problem is that Its says no signal or invalid format when I try to adjust my PC resolution over 1280 X 800. Otherwise everything is good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice portable projector This projector turns on and off really quickly. Being powered by an LED, you don't have to wait more than a few seconds for it to be ready to go. When you are done, it powers off and is ready to pack up almost as quickly. Works well with my 120 inch screen. At 700 lumens its one of the brightest portable LED projectors I have seen on the market.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AMAZING PROJECTOR This projector is an amazing product and well worth the price. The only thing I have a complaint about would be a lack of built in tv tuner which I've heard there is a model with a tv tuner built in which would be a great feature for every day use such as I do. Very easy to set up and use!!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LG PA70G LED projector purchased this projector for our theater room/man cave. overall this is a very good projector for the price. Blu-ray and hdtv look excellent. 3d only works via pc which is a bummer since the newer model of this projector the pa75U does 3d. I have ours projected on a 106" screen in a dark room. as far as picture compared to our other TV's #we have a 65" rear projection and a 51" plasma# the picture is excellent once you get all the setting adjusted in the menu. I use the expert mode and it seems to me it's the best overall setting. I would rate this all fives if you could watch 3d without pc and if this LED's last as long as LG says they will #if I get more then 5+ years use on this projector# I would say that would be excellent. hopefully LG will release a firmware that will upgrade this projector to be able to do 3d Blu-ray and 3d hdtv.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great features, good product, but has focus issues I like that I got it for a great price and it connects to all of my devices. It's portable, bright enough, HD, long life LED, has a good built-in speaker. Unfortunately it's all marred by non-uniform focus issues. The upper-left and lower-right corners are never in focus at the same time. I'm willing to live with it since it's not noticeable when watching video, but it is annoying to have that flaw.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from PA70G led projector only had a few days and wow. I have ben watching march madness on an 106" screen and it's awesome. took a little while to adjust properly and set up but it was worth it. watched the dark night rises and it was like I was at the movies again watching it. I would give it a 10 out of 10 if it had a few more option but it's pretty darn good for what you pay/get and no replacing of lamp every 2-3 thousand hours because it's got LED that last 30,000 hours

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It'd be 5 stars across the board if... ...if not for the focus issue. This is my first projector, and I did read others stating they had issues with the uniformity of the way this unit is clearly in focus in certain parts of the image, yet blurry and out of focus in another. This unfortunately is STILL an issue with this product, and is more noticeable when viewing PC/Text images, web pages, etc. When watching videos or gaming it is not as noticeable, but is still far from being uniform. I will be contacting support to submit a service request as the unit should be sold if there is an unresolved known issue. There are no LG service techs in my area - so I will likely have to send it to a service center and be without it for who knows how long. I don't regret this purchase, but my wishful thinking in maybe a model with a newer production date would be built correctly was wrong. LG needs to listen and address their customers concerns else they will have a REALLY hard time building any sort of customer loyalty.

Does the PA 70G projector accept PAL input on A/V

We have visitors from Europe that have a video recorder. It is in PAL format. The PA70G manual shows that the projector supports PAL formats, but we cannot select that setting. Does the projector automatically detect PAL format on the A/V input or can you provide instructions how to use the A/V input with PAL signals
Asked by: MvdB
We appreciate your interest in this projector. According to the specifications listed on page 57 of the owner’s manual, it appears that, along with the NTSC tuning band, this projector is also compatible with PAL-B, D, G, H, I / PAL M / PAL N and PAL 60. No adjustments should be required for changing between the various signals.

How to zoom on the LG PA70g?

I have my projector permently mounted on a ceiling fixture but when projected on my wall it makes about 117" screen. My projector screen is only 87" , is there any way to zoom in the picture so it only projects to a 87" size screen?
Asked by: Seksybob7
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this projector. How far away from the screen is this device located? From the description given, it sounds as if it has been placed well over 10 feet from the screen. Proper installation for an 87” screen should place the projector at about 8 3/4 feet.

Does the PA70G have the ability to turn power on given a signal input?

I can see that my PA70G can turn itself to standby/off when selected timer has elapsed without an input signal. I would like to be able to go from standby to on when an input signal is recieved. Can this projector do this? This would be a convenient feature for home theater set applications and would hopefully be as simple as firmware code/menu change. Thanks for your response Michael
Asked by: BubbaEarl
I apologize, but no; the TIMER options menu does not have a function available for the automatic activation of this device. There are only options for the automatic deactivation of this unit.

Can I stream Netflix movies directly on a PA75U projector?

We just bought a PA75U projector and we are very happy with it. What would make it even better is if we could stream Hulu plus and Netflix directly on it. Is that possible? Thank you, Anna
Asked by: annac
We appreciate your interest in this Projector. This device does not have the ability to receive Hulu Plus or Netflix on its own accord. You can either connect a computer that can receive these signals, or you may obtain the Smart TV Upgrader, model SP520 which will allow the Smart TV features which are available through the LG Apps Store. Information about this device can be viewed on our website at http://www.lg.com/us/blu-ray-players/lg-SP520-network-media-player.
