What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice screen but I'd not recommend this coders I bought it a few days back, it's perfectly okay but I would not recommend this for people who have good eyes, I mean the screen is bright, colors are displayed as good as other IPS monitors you know, but the thing is I have a 13-inch laptop with 2K display, when switching between them 2 I feel quite shocked because I can see pixels on this monitor, but not too sharpy, I can suffer this. Also, If you want to place it on your desk without the stand, you have no options whatsoever to remove the irritating knob on its back

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Had to return product IPS bleed in lower right corner. Returned to Amazon for credit, but will buy again. I have three LG 27" IPS monitors, all of those a great. Nice size screen for split screen work. The 23" is good size for full screen use. I've heard of the IPS bleed, but this is the only time I have experienced it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better then expected at this price Hi . Excelent monitor, with minimal glow and blacklight bleed, much less then in more expensive ones The menu its not so easy to use but has lots of feautures and setings( colors, saturation, hue, sharpness, gamna, and so on) Colors very acurate out of the box Negatives- the stand not very stable. No DVI Highly recomanded . Greetings from Romania ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for what I needed. My kids talked me into buying a MacBook Pro and I literally despised the thing. So in order to salvage my situation I bought this monitor and a docking station and now I love it. This monitor brought together the entire computer with brilliant colors and a perfect size for my desk. I loved it so much I bought another for our other house and just carry the computer back and forth so its like having two desk tops with total mobility.

Is this monitor working for hdmi cable tv provider?

Asked by: Lei1234
Hello Lei1234. We would need some clarification on what you mean by "hdmi cable provider"? Cable Providers have set-top boxes that can be connected to TV panels or monitors in a variety of ways and the HDMI port is one way. The difference between a TV and a monitor is that monitors typically do not have speakers on do they have built-in TV tuners in them. If your cable set top box has an HDMI out on it, it can be connected to the HDMI IN on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 22" Class Full HD IPS LED Monitor (21.5" Diagonal), Model # 22MP47HQ-P, however, keep in mind that this monitor does not have speakers on it, but it does have a headphone jack in the back...^IFV

I would like to hang the monitor upside-down from a low ceiling. Will I be able to flip the image top to bottom?

Asked by: Fishy
There is nothing in the settings for the LG 24" Class Full HD IPS LED Monitor (24" Diagonal), Model # 24MP47HQ-P that enables you to change the orientation of the picture. If your computer has an Intel graphics adapter, you can use keyboard shortcuts to rotate your screen, or you you may be able to rotate the screen in the Screen Resolution or Display Properties window. That will depend on which operating system you have on your computer. The process for rotating screens is dependent on the graphics card that you are using, and your graphics card drivers may override Window' rotation controls. Knowing what graphics card you have will make it easier to find the rotation controls. If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, you can use the NVIDIA Control Panel to rotate the screen. If you have an AMD or ATI graphics card, you can use the Catalyst Control Center to rotate the screen. The most common reason that your display won't rotate is bad or outdated drivers. Updating to the latest drivers will usually restore this option...^IFV

Is the 24MP47HQ-P IPS LED Monitor Mac compatible?

Asked by: LBMC
Yes, 24MP47HQ-P full compatible. I'm running it with Mac OSX 10.11 El Captian. However the "leg-dock" of monitor is very weak. When I press the keyboard, "leg-dock" doesn't keep monitor, monitor is shaky. I hope LG will fix it or replace for me a new product

is there a set of speakers that go with this that i can buy??

Asked by: amontick
LG does not make PC speakers. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 23" Class Full HD IPS LED Monitor (23" Diagonal), Model # 23MP47HQ-P has a 3.5mm headphone port which you can use either with headphones or use to connect to active or passive computer speakers. When you bring up the OSD Menu, there is an Audio setting that allows you to control the volume to the headphone port if you use passive speakers. Active Speakers in most cases have their own volume control on them. You will find PC speakers at most Consumer Retail Stores that carry computers and definitely at Computer Stores...^IFV
