What people are saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Monitor This is a very nice monitor. I would recommend it for a primary monitor off a laptop, which is how I use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Looking, Great Viewing This monitor has a great resolution and color. It's big but not too big. It works well with Macs and Windows PCs. The white color looks good in a setting where the back of the monitor is visible to others. It supports HDMI and DisplayPort so you get some flexibility. It doesn't have USB but I use it with a hub anyway. You can use your headphones with it if you need sound. I'm glad that I got this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome 4K monitor for the price I bought this from best buy during Thanksgiving with 150$ discount. I wanted to get Dell due to their good customer service. But for such a price dell didn't even come close and this monitor has really great reviews. I am very happy with this monitor. The back of the monitor is white which I feel would have been better if it was metallic Grey or black but who is looking at the back anyway. So if you get this below 300, just buy it!

I purchased this monitor about two weeks ago before I ordered a new desktop pc. I am wondering what version of displayport cable it came with to display the best picture in HDR. 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4? That's all I need to know, thanks.

Asked by: 1030301
The Display Port is version 1.4 so the cable should be like wise. ^Daphane

I am trying to install this monitor ( LG - 27UL600-W 27" IPS LED 4K UHD FreeSync Monitor with HDR) and its drivers on my HP Spectre laptop which has no CD drive to install the software via the setup disk that comes with the monitor. Any suggestions?

Here is the manual to this monitor to help: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-27UL600-W.AUS. Also, on the CD there should be options on searching for an app to download to provide the same service. Let me know if this helps! ^CJ

I read in a Best Buy review of this monitor that the buyer lost audio from their MacBook Pro when the monitor is hooked up. Before I purchase this, I want to make sure that the speakers on my MacBook Pro will still work when I connect it to the monitor.

Asked by: sarahl00
You will need to make sure that you select the LG 27'' Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor with VESA Display HDR 400 (27'' Diagonal), Model # 27UL600-W as the device that you want to output audio to from your MacBook Pro. When you connect the monitor to your MacBook Pro, it should appear in a list of Sound Output Devices that you can select to output audio to. Is the vesa mount on this adjustable? I have the screen but it's not parallel to the surface and that cause the vesa mount is a little at an angle.

Asked by: Monishshah7
The VESA Mount bolt holes on the back of the LG 27'' Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor with VESA Display HDR 400 (27'' Diagonal), Model # 27UL600-W are not adjustable. They are fixed. I purchased the 27UL600-W for photography. The section on setting the GAMMA is vague, Which mode would be equivalent to Gamma 2.20. Also, the Black level control. Does setting it to low, increase the dynamic range.

Asked by: Terrylw64
The Gamma settings for the LG 27'' Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor with VESA DisplayHDR 400 (27'' Diagonal), Model # 27UL600-W are given as modes. Based on a gamma value of 2.2, if the square frame appears dark, the monitor's gamma value is low. If the square frame appears bright, the gamma value is high. You can adjust the gamma value by changing the monitor's brightness settings or by adjusting brightness in the driver menu for your graphics card. As the owner's manual advises, "the higher the gamma value, the darker the image becomes. Likewise, the lower the gamma value, the lighter the image becomes"...^IFV
