Took me contacting customer support twice to get a shipping label, still waiting on my monitor to be returned. I’ve been without my third monitor for weeks now. There’s a surprising number of negative reviews saying the same thing. For a monitor this expensive this should not be an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Monitor I bought this to upgrade from my 27" Acer 1080p and so far have loved this monitor. To the easy to use menu system, vibrant colors and display, I couldln't ask for a better monitor. I particularly enjoyed the preset configurations I could choose from that adjusted various elements of the monitor. The HDR Preset looks amazing. It breathed new life into most of my games and moving up to 2K resolution, things looks amazing. I highly recommend this monitor for it's quality and value!

Would this monitor be able to give me 1440p 120hz on a Xbox Series X or would I need to find a different one that would?

You need to review the specifications for any monitor to determine if it supports 1440p and 120Hz. What is the correct driver to install for this monitor? I see 3 potential options. The first being On screen control drivers, next is the win10 drivers, and the last is the windows driver but it was released in 2017 so im not sure if its any good.

When connected to a PC/Laptop that supports Plug and Play, it will be automatically detected without any intervention from you. Our On-Screen Control (OSC) software [Windows] OnScreen Control - version 6.85 or [Mac OS] OnScreen Control - version 4.64 is an application that is used to manage a single monitor or a group of monitor with useful features such as Monitor Control, My Display Presets, and Screen Split. It can be downloaded and installed from the monitor's support page on our site...^IFV

The LG 27GL83A 27'' UltraGear™ QHD IPS 1ms Gaming Monitor with G-Sync® Compatibility, Model # 27GL83A-B has a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a native refresh rate of 144Hz. It supports a 10-Bit Color Depth through HDMI and DisplayPort and it supports a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 @ 144Hz over HDMI and DisplayPort (2560 x 1440 @ 100Hz recommended for HDMI) and it will support 2560 x 1440 @120Hz over HDMI when FreeSync Premium is set to Off. IT supports 2560 x 1440 @ 120Hz over DisplayPort as well. You need to make sure you set your gaming console to output the correct resolution and refresh rate to the monitor...^IFV

Regardless of what gaming console or device you have connected to the LG 27GL83A 27'' UltraGear™ QHD IPS 1ms Gaming Monitor with G-Sync® Compatibility, the monitor supports a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 @ 120Hz/144Hz over HDMI when Freesync Premium is set to OFF. Your PS5 does not support 1440p or 144Hz, and the monitor only supports 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz over HDMI. It does not support any other resolution other than 2540 x 1440 @ 120Hz....^IFV
