Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have pre purchased this but is there USB-C? The stand looks a bit thick. A thinner stand would have been nicer like on the 27EA83. Besides that almost everything is perfect. I'm not sure if it has USB-C though. I hope it has USB-C somewhere.

Will it support hdmi 2.1? Will it support 1440p or 4k at 120hz over hdmi?

Asked by: Cbell
Hi CBell. Thank you for your inquiry and interest in the LG 27GN950-B 27 inch UltraGear™ 4K Nano IPS 1ms G-SYNC® Compatible Gaming Monitor, Model # 27GN950-B. Regrettably, the full specifications for the monitor have not yet been released so we cannot verify what type of HDMI ports it will have. The monitor is not due to be released until later this year. Our press release from CES2020 announced that 160Hz refresh rate (144Hz native + factory overclock feature in OSD) is supported, alongside Adaptive-Sync which includes AMD FreeSync for compatible GPUs and systems as well as Nvidia’s ‘G-SYNC Compatible Mode’. Reports also state that the ports include DP 1.4a, 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, and 2 USB ports. However, the panel used isn’t supposed to enter production until Q3 2020, so the monitor isn’t expected until late 2020 at the earliest. Until the specifications are officially released, we cannot confirm those reports...^IFV

How will these monitors handle burn ins. OLEDs to my knowledge and experience in the past are prone to image burns and alot of games have static placed images (e.g. Huds) that increase this issue.

Asked by: Shadowviper
It should handle them fine since this monitor isnt an oled monitor but a nano ips monitor.

Will this monitor feature HDMI 2.1 with 48GB bandwidth? I will not buy a monitor in 2020 without it and I am looking.

Interested in universal translator and selfie technology shown at CBS This Morning. Where can I order?

Asked by: Loyfa
CES is an event that manufacturers use to unveil and showcase technology that will be coming out for the year. Products using this technology may not be available yet and usually start appearing in stores around March or shortly thereafter. You may want to contact CBS to inquire about which companies will be producing products with the universal translator and selfie technology so you can contact them for further inquiries. Regrettably, those technologies are not technologies that LG has announced they are developing...^IFV
