What people are saying
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Game mode Features I bought this almost a year ago and I have enjoyed it. My favorite feature is the ability to have a crosshair on the screen. This helps immensely when playing shooters

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW LIKE HITTING THE LOTTERY! That's how I felt when I powered on this monitor. I purchased 2 monitors and returned them till I bought this one. After a couple of days trying it out, I knew this was a keeper. I have this hooked up to my PC & PS4. A review can't express how awesome this monitor is. I am pretty picky and I buy the best I can afford. This monitor satisfied 99% of what I wanted in a display. In fact, yesterday I went out and bought a higher end PC just to get the best of what this monitor is capable of. I would definitely recommend this! In conclusion, Life Is Good! Thanks.

Using a Lenovo Yoga 720. At 2560x1080 I have black bars of dead space on the top and bottom of the screen. If I set the resolution to 3840x2160 (same as the primary) the screen is filled, but everything is blurry. What do I need to adjust?

I have a 29WK600-W monitor but the HDMI cable is too short. I want to buy a coiled HDMI cable like the old telephone cord that can be extended. Would you recommend one to me that's compatible with this monitor?

Asked by: SYLKO
Hello, you may use any HDMI cable so long as it is 2.0 version. ^AC

Which cable do I need to have a native resolution of 2560x1080? Displayport or HDMI. And also is the HDMI cable that comes with the monitor HDMI 2.0?

Asked by: JohnnyQ
Hi JohhnyQ. There is no such thing as an HDMI 2.0 cable. As quoted by HDMI.org, "Version 2.0 of the HDMI Specification does not define new cables or new connectors." The HDMI version refers to the HDMI ports and not to the cables. Current High-Speed HDMI Cables are capable of carrying the increased bandwidth. The HDMI cable that comes as an included accessory with the LG 29" Class 21:9 UltraWide® Full HD IPS LED Monitor with HDR 10 (29" Diagonal), Model # 29WK600-W is a High-Speed cable...^IFV

With an older NVidia GTX 570 that has 2 DVI and a mini hdmi port, is it possible to achieve 2560x1080 @75hz? If so, what cable is needed? DVI to HDMI or DVI to Displayport? Thx

Asked by: GaryT2000
It is possible but there is no guarantee which cable connection will work. Since LG only recommends straight connection, you would have to do a trial and error for this kind of set up. ^AC

The LG 29" Class 21:9 UltraWide® Full HD IPS LED Monitor with HDR 10 (29" Diagonal), Model # 29WK600-W has a native resolution of 2560 x 1080 and if you can't set the output resolution for any device that you have connected to the monitor, you will get black bars that are generated to maintain the aspect ration. Hello Support, I went through the manual but did not find an answer. What input do I need to use HDR - DP or HDMI? What input do I need to use to get 75hz? And is 75hz obtainable at the native resolution of 2560x1080 ?

Asked by: Peycho
DisplayPort has similar capabilities as HDMI and either HDMI port or the Displayport on the LG 29" Class 21:9 UltraWide® Full HD IPS LED Monitor with HDR 10 (29" Diagonal), Model # 29WK600-W will support HDR and only Displayport will give you a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1080 @ 75 Hz. The HDMI specification only supports 4K @ 60 Hz. The recommended resolution is 2560 x 1080 at 60 Hz...^IFV
