Rated 1 out of 5 by from Issue with USB-C connection with Mac I got this monitor a year back and then in few months it started flickering when connected to my mac using USB-C. I have sent it twice for repair and the issue was not fixed. Now it is sent for the 3rd time. Communication is that it is sent to returns department for resoultion. It has been 1 month and still no response after multiple follow ups. Would not suggest buying this monitor if you are looking for USB-C connections.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very regret…. I bought 3 of these monitors and so regret! One of them completely gon black and sent to warranty almost a month ago and still waiting. And the other two also have similar problem. The screen flickers and goes black time by time for about 10-15 seconds. Especially if you are in a meeting or gaming, you basically have nothing on your screen for a while. When i search online, i actually noticed that so many people having same issue with these monitors. This was first time I was tryinG LG but for sure it will be the last time. Never recommend it. These monitors unfortunately took the whole LG image down for me and i will probably skip thos brand for future for any electronic item for good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 15 years software enginner and this was the worst I have 3 of these monitors. As a software engineer, I tried different monitors in years, but this was the only brand-model I said “Dear God….. i wish i can get rid off them..” check online and you will find thousands of posts with exact same issue with these monitors. Screen goes black, 10 seconds later comes back. Randomly. Very annoying. And yet LG does not even accept it at first. You send it to them, it takes 4-6 weeks, they say it is fixed but boom same issue again… anyways, they are all in mint condition visually and I would sell them to half price if someone makes an offer.

I have this display plugged to a MacBook Pro 15-inch 2017 running the latest update of the OS (10.15.1) and the monitor keeps going black for a about 7 seconds and the coming back. It does this about once every 2 hours or so.

this issue is common when using the USB-C cable - dont seem to have this issue when using HDMI cable (adapter on the mac end) and you also have more colour options (SRGB for one is availble ) than when using the USB-C. the HDMI is more capable video cable by the looks.

Can someone please set the record straight? Does this monitor (32UL750-W) include any anti-flicker or blue light reduction features? I am on the cusp of making a purchase but can't find any definitive information on this topic for this model. Thank you!

Asked by: Tomek Pistolet
This monitor haven't flicker-free technology. It is flicker-free only on 100% brightness. That is why it is not mentioned in monitor specifications.

What is the HDCP rating? why is there no mention in the specs?

Asked by: stanHDCP
Both of the HDMI ports on the LG 32'' Class 4K UHD LED Monitor with VESA Display HDR 600 (31.5'' Diagonal), Model # 32UL750-W are HDMI 23.0a ports and both are HDCP 2.2 compliant. There is no mention of HDCP compliance in the specifications because it is common knowledge that for you to pass a 4K signal the HDMI ports need to be HDCP 2.2 compliant and that the HDMI ports have to be HDMI 2.0a ports for HDR support...^IFV

I use the monitor with a Mac (USB-C port). It often mounts a drive named CRP DISABLD, with a file named firmware.bin inside it. I cannot solve this problem and I am sure it is related to some controller board of the monitor itself. Can you help me?
