What people are saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead Pixels After Only 1 year. I purchased this monitor in October of of 2021. In beginning of December of 2022 (only 14 months) a dead pixel line formed horizontally through the middle of the screen. Before that it would have probably been a 5 star review. But I cannot recommend this monitor when I have other LG monitors/TVs for 5+ years and never have developed dead pixels. I have never moved this monitor I took it out of the box and immediately installed it on a proper monitor arm for the size screen and have hardly moved it since.I Just started work one morning and the pixels were dead. Very frustrating, I have owned many LG products. All my personal monitors and TVs are all LG. This is my first LG product to do this. I hope it’s the only.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent 2560x1080p gaming monitor I bought this recently because I still prefer gaming at 1080p but wanted a little more immersion and this monitor is fantastic and typical LG panel quality.

Can I use this monitor with two laptops at once? I am working for two different clients, on two different laptops. I would like to display Laptop A picture (Left) and Laptop B picture (right) on the Screen of 34Zoll screen at the same time. possible?

Asked by: Christiano
What you are describing is a function that is called Picture-by-Picture (PBP) on a monitor. PBP splits the monitor's screen in two so you can view two external video input sources simultaneously on the monitor. The LG 34 Inch 21:9 UltraWide™ Gaming Monitor with G-Sync® Compatible, Adaptive-Sync, Model # 34GL750-B does not support PBP. Connectivity for the monitor includes 2 x HDMI inputs and a DisplayPort input so you can connect two laptops to the monitor, but you will need to manually switch the inputs to view the inputs that each laptop is connected to. Another option would be to download and install LG's On-Screen Control software which will give you four Picture-in-Picture (PIP) options. PIP enables you to view one external video input source on the main window of the monitor and to view the other external video input source in an inset window on the main window of the monitor...^Ivan

Does it support PBP? Connect two laptops and see on same display at the same time? Like Display screen split by two laptops

No, the monitors cannot be daisy chained. You will need to select the input mode for the desired output. The monitor does have On Screen Control (OSC) to support split screen after software download. ^Daphane

Is there any possible way for me to get a 13" Apple Macbook Air to match the resolution on this Monitor? I bought this monitor and with using a HDMI I am not able to get the resolution match.

Asked by: Chris008
Make sure you plug the monitor to a Thunderbolt or MiniDP to HDMI (or better yet, DisplayPort) adapter that supports resolutions higher than 1080p. I'm using my mid-2012 13" MacBook Pro with this monitor using a MiniDP to DisplayPort adapter that supports up to 4K 60Hz and I can use this monitor at its max resolution and 144 Hz.

Can i use this monitor as a Tv?????

Asked by: Rakesh113
The difference between a TV and a computer monitor is that most computer monitors, but not all, do not have built-in speakers like a TV and computer monitors do not have built-in tuners as a TV does. You would need an external tuner to use the LG 34 Inch 21:9 UltraWide™ Gaming Monitor with G-Sync® Compatible, Adaptive-Sync, Model # 34GL750-B as a TV so you could connect it to a cable set-top box that has an HDMI Out or a gaming console that has an external tuner to use the monitor as a TV. The monitor does not have built-in speakers but it does have a headphone out (3.5 mm port) that you can connect to computer speakers, use headphones with or connect to a Soundbar that has a Portable In (3.5mm port)...^IFV

I need this to go on my desk which is butted against a wall. I noticed that it has a 'fin' at the back which means that it will stick out further from my wall. Is this 'fin' removable?

Asked by: Reggie173
Completely optional, just received this monitor and the "fin" even comes as a separate piece in a bag.
