Died in 30 Days and Difficult Customer Service.
I bought it a month ago and it died while it was on and would no longer power back up. It took almost 4 days and multiple calls just to get a shipping label. Who knows when I will get it back from the repair site!?

Terrible Monitor - you get what you lay for
I don’t get why you would even make an ultra wide monitor with 1080 definition. The picture quality is terrible, edges are pixilated, and I get a headache after staring for a few minutes. How did this monitor ever pass quality control?
Why would you make a low def ultra wide monitor when you know the quality would be terrible? The techs at Best Buy laughed when I brought it in because I thought I got a faulty monitor. But no just a faulty design.
I returned it immediately and will not buy LG again.

Does this work with Mac? Also does model 34WQ500-B work with Mac as spec says only compatible with windows
There is nowhere in the specifications for the LG 34” UltraWide FHD VESA DisplayHDR™ 400 IPS Monitor with AMD FreeSync™, Model # 34WQ500-B on its product detail page on our site that says that this monitor is only compatible with Windows. This monitor supports Plug and Play which is a feature that allows you to add a device to your computer without having to reconfigure anything or install any manual drivers. The monitor has a native resolution of 2560 x1080 and a native refresh rate of 100 Hz. Connectivity for the monitor includes an HDMI port, a DisplayPort, and a 3.5 mm Headphone Out. Check the specifications for your Mac to see what resolutions the graphics card in it supports and check what connectivity it has. As long as the graphics card in your Mac supports the monitor's resolution and you can make the appropriate connections to the monitor, it will work with the monitor...^Ivan
