Rated 1 out of 5 by from Large Capacity & Elegant Look "Fooled" Owned this refrigerator for only 2 years, and the appliance has had 2 compressors and 2 other major components replaced. Now the compressor has failed again. I am not pleased with LG company in REFRIGERATION! Stick to TELEVISIONS as I own 5 LGs 24" - 79" televisions and only had one minor issue with the 79". I promote televisions by LG and protest Refrigerators made by LG! Stay Far Away from this product. What is the good in having this nice large capacity product that consistently does not work!

What is the size of the compressor?

Asked by: leah123
Regrettably, we do not have access to any information that shows the wattage or horsepower for the compressor in the LG Mega-Capacity 3 Door French Door Refrigerator with Smart Cooling Plus, Model # LFX33975ST. That information will be stamped on the nameplate attached to the compressor as is required by NEMA or IEC standards. Please contact our Support Center at (800) 243-0000for assistance with the requested information...^IFV

The side panels on my fridge are scratched. What is the part number for touch-up paint that would be compatible with this refrigerator LFX33975ST (01)?  Is it the VCM TUP-3796TG or VCM TUP-3796VS  or another product all together? Thank you.

How do I raise the temp on the refrigerator & freezer

Asked by: Mjesk
It is recommended that, when the unit is first installed, the freezer temperature should be set to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, while the refrigerator should be set to 37 degrees. Once the unit reaches these temperatures, you may change the setting to however you would prefer. These adjustments will be made by simply pressing the REFRIGERATOR and FREEZER buttons repeatedly until the desired temperature is displayed.

Lg refrigrator slide n hide lfx33975st/01 problem Water is filling up in the slide n hide drawers. Why is this happening?

Asked by: Charlyexcel
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this refrigerator. Water in the Slide ‘N’ Hide drawers could be caused by condensation from an air leak around the door or some manner of spill. If this does not appear to be the case, then the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp.

My freezer is not cooling. My fridge side is working fine but the freezer part isn't getting cold at all.

Asked by: raulr
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this refrigerator. Since the refrigerator and freezer both operate on the same cooling system, and the refrigerator is cooling properly, it may be possible that the vents in the freezer compartment are being blocked, restricting the air flow. If this proves not to be the case, then the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp.
