Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Replacement We are very happy with it so far. I did have to set the refrigerator temp to 35 to get it to 41 inside the refrigerated compartment. Wifi instructions are a little confusing, but finally got it. But, I didn't buy it for it's wifi. Seems to hold more than our old side by side, The glass door doesn't do much since after a day or so you know whats in there, but I do find myself using it a lot more than I thought I would. So, all in all very happy

The problem was overlooked during warranty service when complained, with advice of usage guidelines. On paid service the problem was corrected only by changing location of sensor. but the consumer was gauged.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from overall good product we have had this for 2 years. other than two service calls to correct a defrost problem the fridge has been very good. the first service call (after 6 months) relocated the defrost sensor. about 8 months later the problem came back (ice build up on defrost coils causing ice buildup in the fridge behind crisper bins). This time they replaced the full back panel. Lucky for us we purchased an extended warranty otherwise it would have been a costly fix. The Door in Door is a great feature as is the "lift" handle on the freezer drawer.

We purchased our refrigerator in September of 2017.  It seems to run for the better part of the day, we have the fridge set at 38 and the freezer at 0.  I’ve checked the seals but do not see any issues.  Is this normal or a possible issue?

How far does the freezer door open? I looked at the model tonight and the freezer door opened 12 inches from body of fridge to seal on freezer door. The other model I looked at opened 15 inches. thanks

I looked at two LG's today including the Studio version and it has a very slim opening for the freezer of only 7.25inches.  The doors on the Studio frog are very thick (3 inches thicker than the other LG models) The freezer door glides are the same on all models so the thicker flat doors are eating up access space.  The other LG's I saw had openings of around 10 inches and are great.  I love the Studio look, but the limited freezer access space is not worth it.

I have this model and has not been able to be repaired by LG techs in 5 visits now. Less than 2 years old but had extended warranty that directed me to call them. Is this product under warranty from LG if its less than 2 years?

How do you activate the smart diagnosis feature? I have the app..but how do you turn it on?

First, call 1-800-243-0000. Only use the Smart Diagnosis™ feature when instructed to do so by the LG call center agent. 1. Lock the display. To lock the display, press and hold the Lock button for three seconds. (If the display has been locked for over five minutes, you must deactivate the lock and then reactivate it.) 2. Open the right refrigerator door. 3. Hold the mouthpiece of your phone in front of the speaker that is located on the right hinge of the refrigerator door, when instructed to do so by the call center. 4. Press and hold the Freezer Temperature button for three seconds while continuing to hold your phone to the speaker. 5. After you hear three beeps, release the Freezer Temperature button. 6. Keep the phone in place until the tone transmission has finished. The display will count down the time. Once the countdown is over and the tones have stopped, resume your conversation with the specialist, who will then be able to assist you in using the information transmitted for analysis.
