Terrible refrigerator and even worse customer serv
I bought my refrigerator and it was delivered on January 29th 2023. Soon after I realized the ice machine would not dispense the ice. Fine no big deal I thought, I had a technician come out and say I would have to get a new freezer door it came in and it was installed on 2/24/23 and the ice maker still isn’t working. Now they have to order a new board for the mechanical part of the ice maker. Well now that the new door is on the gasket is not closing my freezer all the way and iceing over my freezer and all the stuff in it. When I contacted LG this morning 2/27/23 they declined to help fix the problem till the other part is fixed. I asked for a new refrigerator instead of messing around because I’m throwing things away from the fridge at this point because of the issue and they will not do nothing to help resolve the issue. I’m fed up and annoyed with there terrible customer service and product. I have lost time from my job to have someone come and fix it and now food also. You think new fridge no problems nope not with this refrigerator! DO NOT BUY

Why is the craft ice so salty and can I fix it? I do not have a water softener and the unit is brand new. New filter, new lines.
How long have you had the ENERGY STAR® LG 23 cu. ft. Smart Side-by-Side Counter-Depth InstaView® Refrigerator with Craft Ice™, Model # LRSOC2306S, and is it just the craft ice that has a salty taste to it, or is the ice in the other ice maker salty as well? If the refrigerator was recently installed, did you throw away the first bin of ice after installation? One of the most common things that you will notice people asking is why some ice cubes taste salty. One of the main reasons why your ice cubes might be turning salty is if your water supply contains minerals that might have NaCl particles inside it. The built-in filter should take care of this issue but in some cases, people still report the same issue, so if you are running into this problem, you may want to check your water supply line to see how salty the water going into your refrigerator is. If this is more than usual, then your water supply needs to be fixed. On the other hand, if your water supply is fine then a low pressure can also cause the same problem. The water pressure for your refrigerator should be between 20 - 120 psi (138 - 827 kPA)...^Ivan
