It is a good buy for the price. The only cons are that I have limited ability to adjust the picture settings and the User Manual was of no help in setting it up. I will continue to buy LG products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Burnout on screen Initially very happy with purchase. Then after about 15 months I noticed white dots along top of screen. Then it expanded. I was told it eventually would black out entire screen. Long story short when I finally called lg it was out of warranty. Big big hassle. Replacement part no longer available! Resolved but not to my satisfaction.

How can i connect the audio output to my home theater? I have tried the RCA cord that came it, but it doesn't seem to work.

The RCA port (i.e. Red/White barrel ports) on the LG 32 inch Class 720p HD TV (31.5'' Diag), Model # 32LM500BPUA is an input so you cannot use that to connect to your Home Theater System which would have to be connected to an audio output. The only port that you can use to connect this TV to your Home Theater is via the TV's Optical Digital Audio Output if your HomeTheater has an Optical Digital Audio Input. If it does not have one, you will need to purchase a Digital/Analog Converter to make the necessary connections from the TV's Optical Digital Audio Output to the RCA Audio inputs on your home theater...^Ivan

In addition to the Sleep Timer, the LG LG 32 inch Class 720p HD TV (31.5'' Diag), Model # 332LM500BPUA also features a Timer Power On and Timer Power Off function. You can set the Power On/Off time for when you want the TV to automatically turn on/off. To use the functions, the time for the TV has to be set correctly...^IFV

How do I turn off the annoying Audio Guidance? I dont need some robot voice telling me channel change and volume!

To use/deactivate Audio Guidance Settings>Accessibility>Audio Guidance When the Audio Guidance is set to On, the TV will announce its current status (Channel, Volume) by voice. ^CP
