Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great for almost 4 years then lost picture. I love my 39" LG - TV Flat Screen Smart TV. Everything good for over 3 years. Lost the picture today. I used it a lot...many,many hours, still sad today when picture went out. It did everything I could have expected for the price. I didn't buy an extended warranty either, which would have expired too by now. I got a lot of use for the dollar. Good color and features. I love the LG built in internet channels too. I also own a 50" LG Smart Tv that's newer and still doing great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from very disappointed. I bought this LG tv about 2 years ago and now that the warranty has expired, I have started to have problems with the screen. When I turn on the tv, there are now 4 vertical white lights illuminated in the middle of my screen. It is very annoying when trying to watch something. So very disappointed in this LG product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Failed after 30 months Bought this TV in March 2015. Yesterday the screen went dark. No more LG products for me. A smart TV should last longer than 30 months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Feeling unlucky I bought this model in December 2014, a bit disappointed LG because just two and half years this tv have screen problem without physical damage. Is that very normal for LG product quality nowadays?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead already! I have had this TV for less than two years. Until a few days ago, it worked great, then suddenly, in the middle of a fine program, the screen went black. I checked my cable box and it was OK, then with both the cable remote and the original TV remote tried in vain to turn it on again. The TV is dead! Of course, the warranty has expired and even a technician who checked it out could find no legitimate reason for the failure. GuessI just got a lemon because LG us usually quite reliable. No TV for now... (Sigh)

How do I hook up a blue headset  there seems to be no output connection on my 39lb5800-ug tv

Asked by: Bob70
Hi Bob70. The LG 39" Class (38.5" Diagonal) 1080p Smart LED TV, Model # 39LB5800 does not have a headphone jack for connecting wired headphones to. It has an Optical Digital Audio Output in the back for connecting to external receivers, Sound Bars and Home Theater Systems that can also be used with a Digital/Analog Converter to connect to the transmitting tower for a pair of infrared wireless headphones. Bluetooth Headsets do not require any audio output connection since they can be paired with the TV so you can stream the audio wirelessly via Bluetooth. This TV has been tested for compatibility with our LG Tone Series Bluetooth Headsets (Models: HBS-700, HBS-730, HBS-800 and BTS1 only) and other brands are not guaranteed to work. This TV supports the LG Wireless Sound Sync so the aforementioned headsets can be paired with the TV by following the path, Home > Setting > Advanced Setting > Sound > Sound Out > LG Sound Sync (wireless) or LG Sound Sync / Bluetooth. You will also need the LG Wi-Fi® Bluetooth® USB Dongle for Select 2014 LG TVs, Model # AN-WF500...^IFV
