Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I bought this new LG tv this month, has a very clear picture, lots of features which I'm still learning about, which I had bought this particular tv first.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Picture - Bad Sound The sound on this TV is too low. I have to keep it at the highest volume to hear it in a standard size den.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not connect to Wifi This has been on and off for a year and now the past 6 months I have not been able to get the Wifi connected. No matter what "suggestions" I try, the network settings states "Wi-Fi is turned off. Turn it on to see the list of available networks..." etc. The Wifi is fine and connection works on all my devices. I've tried everything apart from removing the back panel. Such a waste of money for the most basic thing I wanted from my "smart" TV.

Hello how can i get to settings or menu on my tv with out the remote

Asked by: Queen bee44
You would not be able to access the settings or menus without a remote control. Parts and accessories can be obtained through our parts distributor, Encompass Parts. Their contact number, for placing orders and pricing information, is 866-779-7906. You can also use their website, at https://www.encompassparts.com/ ^CP

Can I use a wired headset with this model, if not what would be headset options?

Asked by: Peddler
Regrettably, there aren't any options for using a headset with the LG Full HD 1080p Smart LED TV - 43" Class (42.5" Diag), Model # 43LJ5500. It does not have a headphone (3.5mm) jack on it nor does it support Bluetooth. One workaround would be to use the Optical Digital Audio Output in the back of the TV with a Digital/Analog Converter (D/A Converter). D/A converters have an Optical Digital Audio Input at one end and will also have an Analog Stereo RCA Audio Output (Red/White barrel ports) at the other end. You can connect one end to the TV and the other to a Transmitting/Charging tower for a pair of infrared wireless headset...^IFV

Hello, the LG LJ550v i can use any of magic remote control??

Asked by: Aljeseerawi
The LJ550V series TVs are not TV models that were released in the U.S. and you will need to contact our Support Center in the country in which the TV was purchased to inquire if it is compatible with LG Magic Remotes. The "L" in the series number you have given indicates that it is an LED TV and the "J" indicates that it is a 2017 model. In the U.S., none of the 2017 LED TVs were compatible with the LG Magic Remotes. The Support Representatives in your region will be able to verify if this TV is or is not compatible with an LG Magic Remote...^IFV

Does this device support 265 h????

Asked by: rame
The LG Full HD 1080p Smart LED TV - 43" Class (42.5" Diag), Model # 43LJ5500 is not a 4K TV. H.265 or High-Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) is the successor to Advanced Video Coding (AVC), also known as H.264 and it offers the same level of picture as AVC but with better compression so there's less data to deal with which is key for better 4K/Ultra HD broadcasts (including satellite), 4K Blu-rays, and more. Along with HDCP 2.2, video compression technology is another crucial internal spec of 4K UHD TV connectivity. The majority of today’s 4K UHD content from streaming sources, 4K Blu-ray players and other devices is compressed via HEVC in the form of its 4K-oriented H.265 version for maximum transmission efficiency. In order to playback HEVC compressed content, a 4K TV will need to have HEVC compatibility. Pretty much every 4K TV on today’s market comes with HEVC built into it and thus has no problem decoding content from the vast majority of consumer market ultra HD content sources, like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Vudu, Ultraflix, 4K Blu-ray and other media sources...^IFV
