Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice picture I'm a little disappointed as far as figuring how all the options are supposed to function. I assumed when purchasing having Google assistant built it I could control the TV with my Google home but cant!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs Xfinity Stream (Beta) App I bought this TV so that I wouldn't need to rent another cable box from Comcast Xfinity. The Xfinity Stream (Beta) App for LG smart TVs was released in September 2019, and it does allow the TV to display the Xfinity channels much like the Amazon Prime and Netflix apps allow the TV to display their respective companies' content. Here are my thoughts after using the TV and Xfinity app for several weeks: 1. The TV will not automatically restart the Xfinity app when powered on. Instead, it displays a normal over-the-air antenna or cable channel. Since I have neither of these sources, it displays the message "No Signal" over some rotating wallpaper pictures. 2. I have programmed the remote's long-press #1 key to load the Xfinity App. This substitutes for having the TV automatically restart Xfinity when powered on, and does work reliably. It takes about 15 seconds for the Xfinity app to load. 3. While watching an Xfinity channel on the Xfinity app, neither voice search nor moving the TV remote's on-screen pointer work. You must use the rocker ring surrounding the Okay button to move between on-screen selections. Not being able to tune a channel or show using just your voice is a major drawback of the current beta Xfinity App. 4. Pressing the remote's Guide button does not display the Xfinity app's guide. Instead, you have to hit the remote's Back button several times to display and select the Xfinity Stream's Live TV tile, which then displays the Xfinity Guide. 5. Recording a program is not as easy as it is using the normal Xfinity cable boxes. Overall, the picture and audio are fine, but the Xfinity Stream App (Beta) still needs significant work to rival the ease of use of the Xfinity cable box and remote.

What sound bars work well with this TV? How do you know what features you get or give up. I want it to come on with the TV and work with the Majic remote, hopefully, without pressing extra buttons.

Asked by: JDM MN
You can find a list of our soundbars as well as compare their features on our website at https://www.lg.com/us/sound-bars Each of the soundbars will be able to be controlled by your magic remote and when connected via HDMI, they can be turned on and off with the TV.

Sorry this question been asked twice but the answer is still not clear. Can I plug 50UM7300PUA directly to a 240v wall outlet? So need for a voltage transformer; just use an adapter?

Asked by: Umassd
Hello, this TV is manufactured for use in the USA and does require 120Vac for optimal operation, however, the TV can withstand up to 240Vac with an adapter if needed. ^CP
