We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this television. It is suggested to see if the black horizontal line is visible on a different source (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, Apps, etc.). If the line isn't visible on another source, the issue is in the signal going to the TV. If visible on different sources, the unit may require service.
