What people are saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still working after 9 years 10 hours/day Great TV. Never used 3d or Apps. Only problem is TV uses CCFL tubes to light behind the screen. 2 years ago - two of 6 CCFL tubes stopped making light. I made those tubes light up again by using the menu to increase brightness to get the tube to relight. I've repeated this many times and it has been running at 100% brightness for 6 months. The next time the dark zones reappear, this TV gets recycled & I go shopping for another 55".

What is the current gen TV that is compatible to the 55la7400 TV

Asked by: Timsinks
There really aren't any current TVs that are comparable to the LG 55" Class Cinema 3D 1080P 240Hz LED TV with Smart TV (54.6" diagonally), Model # 55LA7400 which was a 2013 model and TVs have changed quite a bit since then. If you are still interested in a 1080p set, currently, the Full HD 1080p Smart LED TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag) TVs in our lineup are the 55LH5750, 55LJ550M, and the 55LJ5500, but none of these have a 240 Hz refresh rate. With the current advancements in picture quality and technology being the 4K UHD HDR Smart LED TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag) TVs, the majority of our 55" lineup are the 55UH615A, 55UH6550, 55UJ6300, 55UH7700, 55UJ6200, 55UJ6540, 55UH6150, 55UJ7700, 55UH6090, 55UH6030, and the 55UJ6300 and then the higher tiered SUPER UHD 4K HDR Smart LED TV w/ Nano Cell™ Display - 55" Class (54.6" Diag) TV models, 55SJ8500, 55SJ8000, 55UH8500, and the 55UH7650. None of the TVs mentioned above support 3D except for the 55UH8500 (Select 2016 models were the last to support 3D, 3d is not supported on any 2017 LG TVs)...^IFV

When I select SMART, I get a Pandora to become unavailable notice. If I click the "Do not display again..." button, it freezes the TV and I can do anything but turn it off. If I just hit the BACK button, notices leaves until I return to SMART.

Asked by: TopRok
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this television and its features. Press the HOME button. Take the remote control pointer to the TOP RIGHT of the screen and select NOTIFICATIONS. Selecting CLEAR ALL should remove this statement, preventing its return.
