What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Picture so-so Picture not as good as I thought it would be,not that good !!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Half works The right earbud only works if I fiddle with the wire continuously. I believe it has a wiring problem. If I only had a left ear the unit would be fine. Unfortunately I have an ear on both the left and right side of my head, so the unit doesn't live up to my expectations.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great picture, dust behind glass We loved this tv when we first got it. It hung on the wall in our house in Arizona for a year then we moved to Florida. We elected to not hang it and put it on the stand on the dresser in the bedroom. Here we could see dust behind the glass front. (Standing from an angle.) Of course, now it's no longer covered under warranty. I am surprised no one else complained about this problem.

We appreciate your interest in this television. According to a list of parts for this model, there does appear to be a FILTER screen on the front of this display panel. It is recommended to have a qualified technician replace such a component, should this be your desire. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp.

Sound not working

My TV sound is not working. I like to know how to test for sound and also what are my options?
Asked by: patil
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this television. A failure of the audio can occur by the lack of an audio signal or audio cable, the INTERNAL SPEAKER setting can be deactivated, or there could be a problem that would require service. Check the connections and settings. If they are not the problem, then the unit will likely require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp.

Is LG model 42LE7300 compatiable DLNA media server?

I am trying to connect my television to a wireless media server via USB or over a wireless connection to stream movies and music throughout my home.

I apologize, but no; this television is not compatible with a DLNA file server. It is not designed with any networking capabilities. The TV will have to be connected directly to either a USB Flash Drive or a USB Hard Drive in order to view those video files.
