Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT!!! Had this unit for about 2 1/2 yrs and it is worth every penny. Bought this for $600 at Micro Center and wasnt really sure how it was going to turn out. Talk about bang for your buck. Works flawlessly. Colors are great. Wireless connection is great. Sound is gd, but I use my HT, so not really a concern but gd enough. Give it a few weeks for break-in period and start tweaking for your preference. Cant be more satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome TV!!!! This was my second flat panel and first Plasma. I had heard that the glare was present on the plasmas but took a chance with it. I have not been disappointed! The picture quality is excellent with an acceptable amount of glare that through positioning of both yourself and the tv can live with easily. I have this in a room with 4 windows near it and an overhead fan with 3 lightbulbs. Not the best situation for the plasma but I am wholly satisfied with it. Probably 70% of the time is watched at night anyway. LOL. Smart features are nice and work excellent even with the laggy wireless dsl that I have. I only have one complaint and it isn't a big deal, but I wish you could run the tv speakers and use the optical out at the same time. I don't have the best surround and it helps with the center channel for voices but like I said not a big deal. I recommend it highly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This TV does it all. This LG TV has USB ports, it is Smart TV, and Syncs to devices. I can watch Netflix, Cable, or stream a movie off my Laptop, Tablet, or Phone, or I can add a USB drive. And I can watch the WWE Network on this TV. The Xbox One also syncs easily to this TV as I can turn the Xbox power on and the TV automatically turns on. I love everything about this TV. My next TV will be a LG no doubt about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my LG Plasma TV Compared to other big screen HD TV's, I think that a plasma set gives a better picture at a much better price. LG is one of the last manufacturers that still produce a plasma set and fortunately they make a quality product. Check it out for yourself. Compare how a plasma set looks next to another type. You can't go wrong with LG.

I found myself watching her television more instead of my television because of the great picture quality. I decided it was time to treat myself, so I brought myself a 60 in LG "Life's Good" television and I'm enjoying it. It brings out great color when I'm watching sports and wow when I switch to hd, there is nothing better. Great job LG "Life's Good"

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My first smart tv- This is my first smart tv. I love the picture quality, and the looks of the tv. I can connect to the net, stream Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc and am VERY happy with that aspect of the tv. I am not happy about all the included apps that take up screen space. I don't mind apps for children (I have none in the house) or other apps that I personally would never be interested in but I don't like the fact that I cannot uninstall them or at least take them off the interface. Maybe I just haven't found the correct way to do it. Also I really dislike the fact that my TV cannot use a wireless keyboard. The 'Magic' remote (I had to buy separately) works alright but it is not the same as a keyboard in typing searches and such. I will know more about what I am doing when I by my next TV and LG is still a quality buy in my opinion.

we had a bad storm and lost power, since then when we turn on TV the LG life's good comes up then the screen goes black, with power button on. can TV be fix?

Typically what happens during a storm is that your TV is prone to a power surge which can cause some damage to the internal components in the TV. The TV will need to be inspected b y a qualified LG Authjorized Service Technician or an LG Authorized Service Center to assess the extent of the damage and determine if it can be repaired or not. We have the LG 60" class 1080 p 600 HZ Smart Plasma HDTV but are unable to hook it up to Wi-Fi or use any of the smart features. We bought it new 4 years ago and are being told we need a "Dongle". Can you tell me what exactly we need & where to get it?

How do I get my 1080  Picture feature to work

With the TV already being 1080, There isn't any special feature for it to work. The TV will play a 1080 signal and if the resolution from the source provided is lower than 1080 (720, 480, etc.), it attempts to upscale the picture to make it appear 1080. It is suggested to insure the resolution provided is 1080 in order for the TV to provide a true 1080 picture.

What is the closest current equivalent to this tv?

LG was the last manufacturer to produce plasma TVs in 2014 and the OLED TVs, like the Plasma TVs they succeeded, are also an emissive technology and would be what is considered the equivalent to the LG 60" Class 1080P 600Hz Plasma TV with Smart TV (59.8” diagonal), Model # 60PN5700 although OLEDS outperform plasmas in every category...^IFV

Is it possible to upgrade this TV to be 4k compatible? Like a software upgrade or something?

Regrettably, the LG 60" Class 1080P 600Hz Plasma TV with Smart TV (59.8” diagonal), Model # 60PN5700 cannot be upgraded via firmware or software upgrade to make it 4K compatible. The screen is a 1920 x 1080 screen and would need to also be changed to 3840 x 2160 as would its' internal components and chipsets would also need changing, basically making a new TV. You would be better advised to buy a newer TV that supports the 4K resolution...^IFV
