Rated 1 out of 5 by from Picture failed after 4 years We bought this TV and just after the warranty expired we started having white dot show up on the screen shortly after that the picture failed completely. When we contacted LG they said it was out of warranty and they could not do anything to help us. This is the first time I purchased an LG and I have never had a TV fail before. All of our TVs have lasted at least 10 years. I also looked it up and saw this model has been discontinued due to a manufacturing floor design. We are very disappointed they did not stand behind their product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Feb 2020 FW update Since the 5.05.75 update, my backlight auto shuts off when local dimming dims the colors and goes dark. The backlight will disable leaving the picture unseen (Use flashlight test). A temporary solution is to disable all picture perks like noise reduction and local dimming off with backlight set to 100. Please fix this.

The Energy Guide label for the LG 65" Class (64.5" Diagonal) 1080p Smart w/ webOS 3D LED TV, Model # 65LB7100 shows an Estimated yearly electricity use of 101 kWh for this model. The calculation for this estimate assumes a daily duty cycle of 5 hours in On Mode and 19 hours in Standby-Passive Mode, plus an estimated annual energy consumption in Download Acquisition Mode...^IFV
