What people are saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great TV but no HDR I bought this TV is 2015 with the promise of this model being future proof. However, that is not the case. I love everything about this TV. I play many video games the input lag is decent, but not up to snuff with current models. However, my main complaint is the lack of or faux HDR. This model has Ultra Deep Color which is supposed to be a form of HDR10. However, HDR is not recognized in any way shape or form. I love LG products, but I am disappointed with the so called firmware update for this model is to only show HDR on Amazon Videos. No HDR for Netflix and YouTube Apps. No HDR support for Xbox One S or PS4. This is a great TV, but it would excellent if the input lag was extremely low and HDR10 was on this model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVELOVELOVE We bought this TV over a year ago. It's still beautiful, the picture will knock your eyes out. Recently we have "cut the cord" and are now streaming so I really looked into updating the TV apps and boy was I stunned at all the apps I can get now through my voice remote that came with the TV. We had hooked up the Roku but the TV itself has more apps and you can use the one remote. We are ecstatic at this entertainment center that's saving us bundles now with knock out TV and features.

I’ve broken the remote for my 65uf8600, which remote should I order so I can still watch 3D Thanx

Asked by: Leedslad
You can replace the broken remote LG Magic Remote for the LG Prime 4K UHD Smart LED TV - 65'' Class (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65UF8600 with a replacement for the original remote. The substitute part number for the original LG magic remote control that is discontinued is Part # AKB75455602 and it can be ordered through our LG Authorized Parts Distributor affiliate, Encompass Simply Parts, (800) 432-8542, https://encompass.com...^IFV

It seems that the UF8600 does support HDR (amazon prime video and netflix apps show it) - so how come connecting an xbox one s doesn't detect HDR? is this because it's over HDMI? Others have noted a firmware update could fix this...HELP!

Does this tv support HDR , that the new playstion 4 pro will be using? I own the tv already and love. Best tv I ever had. I am a gamer primarily. So I was wondering if it does support hdr or will have to buy a new tv

Asked by: Deathstark
I beg to differ. The apps included with this TV activate hdr on this model. And, hdr is recognized on a regular ps4. However, Xbox One S and Ps4 pro has issues detecting hdr on this model. I believe this can be fixed with a firmware update from LG. It's just up to them to do it, and take care of its customers.

can i disable wi fi on the 65uf6800? i dont wabt it to emit constant emf or emf bursts....

Asked by: samothrace
We appreciate your interest in this television. The WiFi/Bluetooth Module is integrated into this TV. If the WiFi network connection is not initialized during setup, then it will not be an active connection. Changing the network connection from Wireless to Wired will deactivate an active WiFi connection in favor of the LAN port.

I want to be able to change inputs quickly.  I experimented in-store and it took more than a minute to boot up and change inputs.  Can I disable all but the input menu so the processor can handle this in a timely manner?

Asked by: Stauf
I own this TV and have had no problems changing the inputs. I have a DirecTV Genie box connected to HDMI 1 and a Pioneer Receiver with blu-ray player, apple tv, PS4 connected to it, and I can easily change between the inputs quickly. I also figured out how to connect the receiver HDMI out to the HDMI 2 to get the audio return channel to work.

Edge Lit. I easily paired a Logitech Harmony to it and a DirecTV remote with no problems. It has Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, Hulu, GooglePlay
