After purchasing in the summer of 2019 we found the viewing angle is not the greatest, I later found that I should have paid more for IPS display technology. The LG streaming channels are nice but don’t get used a channel as they sometimes disappear from availability. Now in May of 2023 the network (both WiFi & Wired) is failing. Nothing that would keep me from buying a new LG TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love LG TV’s. They are the only TVs that I will purchase I’ve had them for at least 10 years. Unfortunately I’ve had a couple break one because they sent me the wrong screws for the legs and wouldn’t stand by it so I had to purchase another and then recently my other would not connect to Wi-Fi, and one was only two years old, and the other was only three years old. I love everything about them except for the new remote and menu not necessarily the road remote, but the menu is gray and white. I miss the color coding because it’s much easier to use and then the newer menu is much more confusing you used to have the guide and the live TV button now you have the Home dashboard and the home dashboard is a little bit annoying but that will not determine if you’re continuing to buy LG TV‘s now I just have to purchase legs for my older LG TV and I just recently spent $50 on remotes so some of the little things like that are annoying, but the overall product is absolutely wonderful .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Chip The picture is fine,but this model was made with a flawed chip. Every year or so the chip that allows you to access the internet stops working. The first time it happened the ajuthorized repairman told me this unit has this defect and it will keep on happening he was right. The problem is LG does not stand behind this product by finding a fix or at least send you this chip without a charge. This being the case when this TV needs to be replaced I will not ever buy a LG TV. I know I can't be the only one

I've had this UK6090PUA 4K HDR Smart LED UHD TV - 43'' about four years now in a home office and while it still looks pretty good, I'm thinking about a 48" - 55" inch set. Which current LG model is close to this or better without going to OLED?

The LG UK6090PUA 4K HDR Smart LED UHD TV - 43'' Class (42.5'' Diag), Model # 43UK6090PUA is a 2018 model. There is no direct replacement for it, and we have since introduced other technologies like our QNED and NanoCell models, However, neither our QNED, NanoCell or 4k UHD models are offered in a 48" screen. Only our C2 evo OLED TV series is offered in a 48" screen. The UK6090PUA series is still available in a 55" screen, and we currently have 23 x 55" screen models between our QNED, Nano Cell, and 4K UHD models, 1 x 49" NanoCell model, and 18 x 50" QNED, NanoCell, and 4k UHD models. You may want to review which models best suit your needs and budget. There are filters on our site that you can use to narrow your search down for the screen sizes you are interested in...^Ivan
