What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best I bought this a year ago and did a side by side comparison with a Sony TV. This blew it away, I use mine through a Pioneer Lx701 amp and 7.2.2 sound system. I do not use the apps on the tv. I prefer to use either Apple 4k TV or Roku ultra 4 K for streaming, they are faster and easier to use. I use an oppo 203 for movies in 4k and they blow away any competition. I haven't used the speakers as I use a sound system. Easy setup . I pretty much have left in straight setup and it works extremely well in standard mode. I do get a lot of blooming and not sure how to stop that but it only in a real dark setting , so any help with that would be nice. Only real complaint is I wish I bought the next size up but have to consider wife factor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular TV!! Period. LG has once again delivered an amazing premium 4K TV branded SUPER UHD TV. I have had this TV for almost a year now. I picked this TV after a very long period of research which involved multiple comparisons with most premium 4K TV's out there until I landed on this particular one. Best deal for the money. Period. The premium 4K quality and specifications, premium hardware installed inside the equipment for 4K, advanced features and performance are unbelievable! Totally recommended!! Keep up the good work LG.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice tv!! bought this about a month ago for our new home. Beautiful picture! It IS heavy; we flush mounted it on a wall and needed 3 people to be sure it did not get dropped. Easy to learn the functions. Would be nice if it had bluetooth audio out for headphone users. Overall a very nice unit; can't wait to watch some football on it!!

There currently aren't any 12-bit panels available in the market and both the LG SUPER UHD 4K HDR Smart LED TV - 75" Class (74.5" Diag), Model # 75SJ8570 and Model # 75SJ857A are 10-bit panels. They have the same features, the same specifications and the only differences between them are that the 75SJ857a is a club piece that is only available in stores Costco. The 75SJ8570 has more of a premium look to it and features the curved stand whereas the 75SJ857A has the stand legs...^IFV

Just to clarify, there isn't an 75SJ8570 that has a panel made in Asia as opposed to the one made in Mexico? TVSuperstores lists the model number as 75SJ8570(US), same TV, correct?

Asked by: GaryinColo
LG is an international company that has factories worldwide and parts for the LG SUPER UHD 4K HDR Smart LED TV - 75" Class (74.5" Diag), Model # 75SJ8570 may come from a factory in any of those countries where LG has factories and the TV might be assembled in an entirely different country. Typically, on the shipping carton that the TV comes in, it will indicate where the TV was manufactured or assembled. Regardless of where it was manufactured or assembled, as long as the model number, i.e. 75SJ8570 is the same, the TV is made to the exact same specifications. The ")" at the end of the model number indicates the type of built-in digital tuner in the TV which for the U.S. is the ATSC tuner...^IFV

Having trouble differentiating between LG75SJ8570 and LG75SJ8570-UB.  What is the difference in the UB version?  I’m told by Joe’s AV it’s the 10-bit panel.  Please advise - thank you!

Asked by: joolive2
The LG SUPER UHD 4K HDR Smart LED TV - 75" Class (74.5" Diag), Model # 75SJ8570 and Model # 75SJ8570 are the same TV. People usually don't append the "UB" to the model number. On TVs that have a different appendage at the end of their model numbers would indicate a difference in the internal components, but will have the same functionality if the model numbers are the same...^IFV
