SCREEN PROBLEMS
WE PURCHASED THIS TV IN MARCH 2020 DURING COVID. WE DID HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE TV SINCE WE PURCHASE IT BUT NO BIG ISSUE UNTIL A MONTH AGO ONLY HALF OF THE SCREEN WAS GOOD. WHY DO SO MANY CUSTOMERS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE AND WHY HAVE THEY DISCONTINUED? NOBODY WANTS TO HELP US. WE CAN NOT AFFORD TO BUY A TV. THIS IS OUR ONLY TV. IS A MANUFACTURED PROBLEM LG SHOULD HELP US TO REPAIR OR REPLACE IT WITH A NEW TV.

What type of Ethernet cable do I need for the 86” tv to be properly connected to the router. Ethernet cable E5 doesn’t seem to work.
Regardless of which TV you have, most recommendations are to use a Cat6 or Cat6A patch cable when you want the best streaming experience if you want faster internet speeds. The volume will go out and then the tv will turn off and then turn on by itself. Does anyone else have this problem and is it fixable?

The 2019 LG 75 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV w/AI ThinQ® (74.5'' Diag), Model # 75UM8070PUA does not have HDMI 2.1 ports, but the 2020 LG UHD 85 Series 75 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (74.5'' Diag), Model # 75UN8570PUC features 2 x HDMI 2.1 ports that support 4K @ 120Hz when HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color is set to on, ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), and HGiG Profile for HDR Gaming...^IFV

Does the 82" have a different display than the 75" and 86"? Looks like 75 and 86 have an IPS display.
The 82" does not have IPS. The website is incorrect on this. It doesn't list it in the top features, but has a slide, which they reused from the 86", that shows IPS.
Specific sizes from LG don't have IPS panels. I think 50", 70" and 82".
LG needs to get their site fixed on this as it's obviously creating some issues. The 86UM8070 and 82UM8070, if put side-by-side, have a noticeably different picture quality.

How far away from the edges are the VESA mounting holes?
Both the top and bottom row of the VESA mounting bolt holes on the LG 75 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV w/AI ThinQ® (74.5'' Diag), Model # 75UM8070PUA are 21.54" (547mm) from the side edges of the panel. The top row of VESA mounting bolt holes is 13.94" (354mm) from the top of the panel and the bottom row of VESA mount bolt holes is 8.62" (219mm) from the bottom of the panel...^IFV

If internet is hardwired to the tv, will it give off a Wi-Fi signal to items like a fire stick?
Hi Jrichie. Please pardon us if we have misunderstood your inquiry, but we were not clear on it. Regardless of whether you connect the LG 75 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV w/AI ThinQ® (74.5'' Diag), Model # 75UM8070PUA via Wi-Fi or with a wired connection to its Ethernet port, you are only connecting the TV to your router. Any other devices that you are connecting to the TV that require a wired or wireless connection to your router would have to be connected individually according to instructions provided in their installation guides...^IFV
