What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I purchased an OLED55B6P TV (serial #182179278948) in March of 2017. By December of that year I noticed considerable pixel burn-in on the screen. Because at this time every year I travel out of the country on family business for two to three months, I was unable to report this problem until my return in mid April, 2018 a few weeks out of warranty. I was pleased that LG understood my circumstances and granted a full screen replacement which was undertaken shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, the burn-in problem developed with the replacement screen in approximately the same amount of time as the original. I called customer service and was told the original repair was complimentary and for one time only. I still have my original problem...a problem I have subsequently learned is often a characteristic of oled screens. I don't know if LG has addressed the burn-in problem with their current OLED screens, but had I known before my original purchase about this issue I would never have bought one. TV's have generally always been fairly long lasting appliances by design. My last TV was a 46" well known brand and it still works well at 6 years and counting. It seems this is no longer true with the LG OLED TVs.

I have a music station where I want to use the tv to expand my DAW on my laptop. Does the oled 77 come without the sound bar? Does the tv work with a Dell Mobile Workstation via HDMI?

The LG LG SIGNATURE OLED TV W - 4K HDR Smart TV - 77" Class (76.7" Diag), Model # OLED77W7P is only available with the Soundbar. Regrettably, we do not know the specifications for your workstation and cannot determine if it will work with the TV. You will need to check your owner's manual or contact its manufacturer to ask if it will work with TVs...^IFV

Is there a way to use this without the soundbar? I understand all the connections are through the soundbar, but is there an I/O breakout box available?

The LG SIGNATURE OLED TV W - 4K HDR Smart TV - 65" Class (64.5" Diag), Model # OLED65W7P. The Sound Bar is also the Companion Box (AV Box) so it has to be connected to the TV, but you do not have to use the Sound Bar. There is an Optical Digital Audio Output that you can use to connect to an External Receiver or HomeTheater or other Sound Systems that you would prefer to use...^IFV

about to purchase this tv and with it the LHB675 sound system, is this system better and louder than the stock tv sound bar, also can the LG CJ98 be hooked up to this tv somehow and if so which of these 3 speaker setups is the best, loudest, power etc

Asked by: derickshay
Thank you for your interest in the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV W - 4K HDR Smart TV - 77" Class (76.7" Diag), Model # OLED77G7P and for considering it. The "stock TV Sound Bar" on the TV is a 4.2 Channel System that has an Output Power of 60W. As you can see from its title description, the LG 3D-Capable 1000W 4.2ch Blu-ray Disc™ Home Theater System, Model # LHB675 is also a 4.2 Channel unit, but the difference being that this is a Home Theater System and it has an Output Power of 1000W, so it will be louder since it has much more power. The LG 3500W Hi-Fi Entertainment System with Bluetooth® Connectivity, Model # CJ98 can be paired to the TV via Bluetooth for a wireless connection and with an Output Power of 1180W x 2 for its front speakers and 570W x 2 for the Subwoofers in each speaker (total output of 3500W), it will be the loudest of the three. As for which one is the best, that will depend on the room that you have it installed in, or how close you will be sitting to the TV. The height of your ceilings, whether you have drapes or not and whther your floors are bare or carpeted will all have an impact on the Sound...^IFV
