The spin cycle does a great job and my drying time has cut down as well. It does make a little more noise than my old washer. I like the fact that each load may take a different amount of time based on fullness of the load. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Good I bought this machine 2 weeks ago. After removing the 4 locking screws and setting up the machine, as recommended we ran a test load with towels. The machine ran fine initially and then started shaking and making a loud banging noises. LG scheduled a repair technician and parts have been ordered. We can still run light loads and the machine works great. Loads take less than half the time to wash compared to my old machine. Other than the above problem that is being fixed, the only negative are the controls. They are hard to read unless you use a flashlight.

Does this model DLEX3900W Dryer have a drying rack, included with dryer purchase, or available to buy separately, or plan to be available in near future? (to dry tennis shoes and other items)

Is this model WM3900HWA (and DLEX3900W) NSF listed/approved?

The Allergiene™ Cycle in the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu.ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Front Load Washer with TurboWash™ 360 Technology, Model # WM3900HWA is officially certified by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA). The Sanitary cycle reduces 99% of bacteria on laundry through high temperature. To earn NSF Protocol P172 certification, a clothes washer tested under this protocol must be able to reduce 99.9 % of microorganisms when clothing is washed on the unit’s sanitization cycle. The specifications for the washer do not list NSF Certification for this washer. The Anti Bacterial cycle on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu.ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Electric Dryer with TurboSteam™, Model # DLEX3900W, on the other hand, is certified to reduce 99.9% of bacteria on laundry, and that none of the bacteria will carry over onto the next laundry load by NSF International (Protocol P154 Sanitization Performance of Residential Clothes dryer)...^IFV

The specs indicate that the Door is glass/chrome. However the rim in all product photos looks black. Photos for some previous models such as the WM3700H*A washer show bright chrome rims around the windows. Are the *3900 series trim rings black or chrome?

They have changed the ring now, it’s not the polished chrome anymore. It matches the washer color more closely now.

Can you confirm that the matching heat pump dryer has been canceled? The LG rep was at my local appliance store while I was visiting and he mentioned that the DLHC3900 was discontinued.

If the LG Rep mentioned that the Heat Pump Dryer Model # DLHC3900B has been canceled then that would be confirmation in and of itself since he would be the one to notify the stores that he supervises...^IFV

What is the maximum wash load by weight?

Unfortunately, there is no way to convert the cubic feet capacity for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu.ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Front Load Washer with TurboWash™ 360 Technology, Model # WM3900HWA into pounds since one measurement is a volume measurement and the other is a weight measurement. A cubic feet capacity of 4.5 cu.ft. will hold about 18-20 lbs of laundry. However, keep in mind that clothes weigh a lot more when wet than they do when dry. The recommendation is to load the tub about 3/4 full and not to stuff the clothes in the machine or pack them in. You may want to weigh your laundry basket on a scale to see how much weight that would be to get an idea...^IFV
