Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Enough Water There’s barely enough water to cover the clothes. I would prefer to manually set the load size. I know you can add more water each time, but that is a pain. I pre-treat everything that is stained so I can’t really say that it cleans well. I do like being notified when the load is done.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work and LG Customer service is useless I bought this yesterday. Installers delivered and started the washer before they left. All seemed fine. The washer never finished the first cycle. Called the people who I bought it from. They asked that I call LG customer service. They actually said that they test all their machines before they are shipped so it is not their problem! Now I have no washing machine while LG and the store duke it out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do NOT buy! I purchased this washer and dryer set 1 year ago. Wish I could return this washing machine. You have to wash every load in Heavy Duty or Deep Wash so that your clothes will be fully covered with water. If you don't, they may not get washed or even wet for that matter. Another issue: Yes, there is Affresh, Tide, and other brands that you can use to clean your washing machine but they don't truly clean your washing machine. Several months ago, I started noticing black specks in the washer, even after using Affresh and Tide. I finally took the agitator out and OMG....disgusting! I was able to clean all of the black sludge from the bottom of the agitator but there is a plastic covering on the agitator itself that you cannot remove. Between the metal (the top) and the plastic (bottom) part of the agitator, you can visibly see all of the sludge that's caught between there but there is no way to take the plastic off to clean it. So needless to say, when I wash my clothes, the blacks specks are still appearing. Yes, even on my clothes. I have already reached out to LG and their response was to contact a repairman. For what exactly, I am not sure. I am going to buy another agitator but I am sure the same thing is going to happen again. Very disappointed in LG.

Just like clothing items have a garment care label on them, you will need to check to see if your shoes have a garment label attached to them for their care & for what the ideal settings are for washing them if they are washable. If they don't have a garment label attached, you will need to contact the manufacturer for advice on how they should be washed...^IFV

What lg washers are made in Tennessee? I would like to buy a top loading washer with impeller made in the states.

Hi Pocanontas. Thank you for your interest in our U.S. made Top Load Washing Machines. The opening for the new home appliance "smart" manufacturing facility in Clarksville, Tennessee was on June 1, 2019 and LG will move forward to December full operations with a plan to churn out 1.2 million washing machines per year, starting production six months earlier than initially planned. Those machines have not yet hit the market...^IFV

Is the dryer DLEX7600WE  Compatible with the washer WT7300CW?

It's not a matter of compatibility but more a matter of if they match since both the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.0 cu.ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Top Load Washer with TurboWash3D™ Technology, Model # WT7300CW and the LG 7.3 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity TurboSteam™ Electric Dryer with EasyLoad™ Door, Model # DLEX7600WE are standalone units that cannot be stacked. The Dryer has a height of 45 7/16" and the Washer has a height of 44 1/2" which is a difference of 0.9375" or 15/16" so they can be used as a matching pair. In terms of capacity, Dryers typically have about twice the capacity of a washer and even though the dryer has a capacity of 7.3 cubic feet which is not twice the capacity of the washer which has a capacity of 5.0 cubic feet, the dryer will still accommodate a full load of washing from the washer...^IFV

What's the difference between this and the LG WT7100CW? Not concerned about wifi; I want to know why consumer reports says this has a poor water efficiency? Does it use more water than the 7100? I'm ok with this since it seems to be a common complaint.

According to the Energy Star site, the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.0 cu.ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Top Load Washer with TurboWash3D™ Technology, Model # WT7300CW has an Integrated Water Factor (IWF) of 3.2 and an Annual Water usage of 4,720 gallons /yr, and the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. Top Load Washer, Model # WT7100CW has an IWF of 4.3 and an Annual Water Usage of 5,721 gallons/yr. The lower the IWF, the more efficient the clothes washer. The WT7300CW is not only more efficient, but it also uses less water according to the Energy Star performance metric...^IFV

Is it possible to turn the chime off when the cycle finishes? Or at lease decrease volume?

Press the SIGNAL button repeatedly to adjust the volume of the signal. When no signal is heard, the signal is off. The volume settings are LOW - HIGH - OFF. The signal volume can be adjusted at any time as long as the washer is turned on.

Why does it take so long in the sensing phase?

This unit has an automatic load sensing feature that adjusts the amount of water used and the length of time per cycle based off of the size and weight of the load. The sensing time is just the time it is taking to calculate wash cycle time and how much water to use.
