LG NANO79 55’’ 4K NanoCell TV with AI ThinQ® (2020)

Very easy to navigate and use, picture quality is excellent, integration with non-LG Wi-fi and Bluetooth accessories is very good, particularly Apple. Very glad I chose this TV instead of another Sony TV.

Connects to WiFi no problem, great picture, good selection of apps

Picture quality great, although the picture is somewhat dark in a well lit room. Magic remote good in theory but in practice fiddly and awkward to use, and feels plasticky and lightweight. It uses radio rather than IR but this makes integration with my Sonos sound bar awkward and the volume control is laggy and irritating. Cannot get both the magic remote and my sky remote to control the volume and have given up on the sky remote. May remove the sound bar to simplify the set up. At 43 inches there is not much difference between UHD content and HD but this reflects the fact that this TV upscales HD really well.

My overall impression is that the panel is really good but could do with 20% more brightness, but there is a cheap feel about the remote and it’s trying to be a bit too clever which actually damages the user experience as the remote is the part you touch.

At £420 excellent value especially compared to Sony and Panasonic.

Finally, this TV has a proper centre stand. In fact it made my shortlist because of this. Many TVs now have terrible side legs and these simply don’t fit on my table. Take note LG!

Not user friendly and too complex but good picture.

After a lot of research and visits to store decided that this tv had sharpest picture Have been a previous Sony owner over last 25 years but LG is excellent previously always had a soundbar which is not needed After a bit of fiddling with the settings the siud is also excellent When on 4k hdr picture is outstanding Highly Recommended

So glad I opted for the Nano Cell model. The picture quality is exceptional. Colours are vibrant and black levels look great. HDR takes it to another level indeed! The 4K upscaling and native 4K are just brilliant. Viewing angles are great too, even from wide side viewing. The sound quality is very good too with brilliant Surround Sound effect. Lots of picture and sound options included. Gaming lag is low, with little or no delay. Plenty of input options and Bluetooth connectivity. Dual Band 2.4 and 5GHz Wi-fi connects and streams flawlessly. Nice to have the magic remote also with Voice control which is a great feature that is really useful. Picture Web OS is so intuitive and easy to navigate. ThinQ app for phones and tablet allows for full TV control with Voice feature also.

Great picture on this tv easy to set up and use. Picture was a bit dark when I turned it on 1st but that’s because it comes on an eco setting. Just changed the picture setting to something else and it’s back to normal.

A wonderful custard and jelly, really good picture, excellent colors

Excellent picture and sound but I find the navigation around the various settings menus and home screen not that intuitive but maybe it will become easier with time. On the face of , it's a very impressive TV and I'm very happy with it.

Fantastic picture and sound quality. Easy to set up and the one remote for everything is a blessing. Really pleased with my purchase.
