What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by What Happened to my screen??? The phone overall is very high performance. But an incident happened. I never dropped my phone before. But when I lightly put my phone on the table, it seemed like the internal LCD screen was horribly damaged. 2/3rd s of my screen is black and even though i can still use the touch screen, it is still black. I really hope I did not get a defected phone because this was not an issue with my other family members who had the phone. July 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by The overall features are outstanding! I purchased this phone yesterday at my local Cricket store, and am very very impressed with it, the way it feels in my hand is amazing. July 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 L70 memory Are there anyways to get more internal memory and anyway to save more apps on an sd card July 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Bargain Price Kitkat Phone This is the third version of the LG 70 released in recent weeks, including the Exceed 2 for Verizon. They share the same strengths and the same weakness: a tiny amount of internal storage for installing apps and games. The lack of apps storage requires that you must install a microSD memory card on Day One. Some apps, plus videos and music, can be stored on the microSD card. You must also remove or disable the apps you do not use. Even then, internal memory is too small to install some popular games as just one game exceeds the available space. If you do not keep at least 200mb of open memory the phone malfunctions or freezes up. The LG L70 is a good choice for people who make phone calls, text and check email. It is the WRONG phone for people who want to install dozens of apps or mega-size games. The strong points: It has a large 4.5 inch screen with good color and contrast, but it is not sharp enough to easily read small fonts. The body is slim and light and looks and feels like a much more expensive phone. The battery life is impressive and with moderate use a charge will last 24 hours. You can bring extra batteries on a weekend trip and not need a charger. The Android Kitkat software runs smoothly. In a strong signal area calls are loud and clear. The L70 lacks 4G LTE for high speed data but uses the older and slower 4G HSPA+. Even so, music from Pandora Radio streams smoothly and Netflix videos look sharp in a strong 4G neighborhood. Music sounds great through good headphones and bluetooth speakers but tinny and thin through the rear speaker. The camera takes fairly good photos in bright sunlight but photos are poor indoors unless you keep the flash three or four feet from your subject. Bottom line: for calling, texting, listening to music and checking email, the LG L70 provides an experience comparable to phones costing hundreds of dollars more. It is a best buy in its price range.
