I transferred data from old phone to my new :LG Prime 2. How do I deactivate old phone (with same number) and why is my calling NOT working on new phone

Asked by: PMSD
When you insert the SIM Card from your old phone to the new LG Prime® 2 16GB - Black @ AT&T, you should be able to make calls on the new phone. A SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card is a tiny, portable memory chip that stores information about you as a cell phone user. On it, there’s a seventeen-digit code that designates its country code of origin, the system carrier (such as AT&T or Verizon), and a unique user ID. It can be transferred from one device to another. All that you need to do is take it out of one phone and slip it into the new one. By making the switch, most (if not all) of your contacts and personal settings will transfer with it. Please contact AT&T Support if you are having issues making calls with the new phone...^IFV
