We just got this tv- is there a way to watch a " sample version " of 3D movie or just samples to show people the best of the 3D mode?

Asked by: Sweeties
We appreciate your interest in this television and its features. The best of the 3D mode will only be available when the 3D options of the TV and operating in conjunction with a video that is formatted for 3D, on a 3D device, such as a 3D video, played on a 3D BluRay player, while the 3D function is active. We do not have sample videos available for use.

When will a 55 inch 4k oled tv be available?

The 65 inch and 77 inch 4k oled tvs are too large for my space, but I would love to purchase a 55 inch 4k oled tv if one were to be available from LG. Will it be released in the near future?
Asked by: Jerrytv5
I do not think there would be a 55 inch tv, specially because at that size 4k does not really work very well. you'll want a 65 inch tv at least,, sorry

How Do I get this Awsome Technology!!

So the saying goes if you do not ask you will not receive...How do I get this 65' OLED TV at no cost? Is there a way I can get on a consumer product testing list to get this TV? I could use it and give consumer feedback! There is no way I can afford this TV but would love to have it!! Thanks :)
Asked by: TravisWD73
TravisWD73, thank you for that glowing endorsement on the LG 65" Class (64.5" Diagonal) UHD 4K Smart 3D Curved OLED TV w/ webOS™, Model # 65EC9700. When you visit the LG site and scroll to the bottom of the page, you will find various links and one of them is the "Contact Us" link. You might want to try there first, regrettably, we do not have information for promotional giveaways or how that can be done, but you could also visit [http://www.lg.com/us/promotions/home-entertainment-deals.jsp] to see if there are any promotions that make the TV more affordable...^IFV

What is the official refresh rate?

I have seen reports of it being 120Hz and others being 240Hz.
Asked by: dlowe
There is technically no refresh rate because each pixel is independently illuminated. Refresh rates refer to other LED products where there is a "backlit" screen. Just like old time TV's where each line is produced Inerlaced being every other line, The p for progressive scan, every line at the same time. The refresh rate is a "frequency" of how many times the line is completed. With each individual pixel being illuminated, this TV has an infinite refresh rate. I understand that IMAX is producing new 44 frames per second which is a lot faster than current. I wonder if this TV would be able to produce that. I think it may be limited only to software and not the hardware.

HDR

Where do we voice our complaint about the lack of HDR support? This model is very expensive and very similar to the new model yet there is no HDR support. As a customer that just dropped a lot of money on this television, I am pretty upset.
Asked by: mschoobs
We regret your dissatisfaction with the features of this television. We provide the service platform from which various applications can launch. We do not produce any of the actual applications. As such, if the HDR application has not been developed for compatibility with this TV model, this is not caused by the TV manufacturer. It is possible to issue such a request to the application producers.

WHY NO FLAT TV

Why no flat OLED TV? This thin television set is perfect for wall mounting but not if it is curved.
Asked by: ryanm1
Hi. Because the curved TVs is newer than flat TVs, LG tries to put the latest technologies on curved rather than flats. Curved OLED TVs are thinnest.
