Is this tv good for next gen consoles(ps5)

Asked by: Jospeh208
If you are asking if the LG NanoCell 85 Series 2020 49 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (48.5'' Diag), Model # 49NANO85UNA will support the refresh rates and resolutions that your PS5 can output, the answer is yes. The TV has a native refresh rate of 120Hz and a native resolution of 3840 x 2160. Two of the four HDMI ports (HDMI 3 & HDMI 4) are HDMI 2.1 ports which support 4K @ 120Hz and 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz. The TV natively supports 1080p @ 120Hz and is supports 1080p @ 60Hz. The TV supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), and FreeSync™, but currently, VRR support is still missing on the PS5. The TV also supports ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and HGiG (HDR Gaming Interest Group). As for gaming consoles, Microsoft's Xbox One X and Xbox Series X support VRR over both HDMI 2.1 (up to 4K @ 120Hz) and HDMI 2.0 (up to 4K @ 60Hz). ... 4K @ 120Hz output via HDMI 2.1 is already enabled on PlayStation 5 for PS5 games that support 120fps...^IFV

What is the FPS or hz of the TV

Asked by: Jospeh208
The LG NanoCell 85 Series 2020 49 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (48.5'' Diag), Model # 49NANO85UNA has a native refresh rate of 60Hz. Remember that FPS is how many frames your gaming computer is producing or drawing, while the refresh rate is how many times the monitor is refreshing the image on the screen. The refresh rate (Hz) of your monitor does not affect the frame rate (FPS) your GPU will be outputting. However, if your FPS is higher than your refresh rate, your display will not be able to display all of the frames your computer is producing, so although the refresh rate doesn’t technically limit the frame rate, it does effectively set a cap. A frame is a single still image, which is then combined in a rapid slideshow with other still images, each one slightly different, to achieve the illusion of natural motion. The frame rate is how many of these images are displayed in one second. Your monitor or display is where refresh rates come in. Refresh rate is measured in frequency (Hz) which is the number of times per second your monitor can redraw the screen. A refresh rate of 85Hz means that your display can redraw the entire screen 85 times in one second...^IFV

I want to use this TV in 220Vac what kind of step voltage transformer can I use?

Asked by: A_14
The LG NanoCell 85 Series 2020 49 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (48.5'' Diag), Model # 49NANO85UNA has an AC power requirement of 120V, 50/60Hz so obviously, if you need to use it at 220 VAC you will need a step up transformer that will step the voltage up to the 220V. However, keep in mind that this TV is designed for use on the 120V outlets here in the U.S. so the plug on the TV will either be a Type A or Type B plug. Plugs for 220V will vary depending on the country you are in and they will be different than the TypeA or Type B plugs on the TV. You also need to keep in mind that the three built-in tuners on this TV, an ATSC tuner, an NTSC tuner, and the QAM tuner are not compatible with television broadcast systems outside of the U.S....^IFV

Asked by: Tc27
The brightness for the LG NanoCell 85 Series 2020 55 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # 55NANO85UNA will vary depending on if the TV has been calibrated or not, on its Picture Mode settings with what you have the Local Dimming set to and on what the Brightness setting you have the TV on. My question is whether the 49 inch nanocell85 is 4k native or 4k rescaled?

Asked by: Victor Jose Carvajal
As indicated in the title, the LG NanoCell 85 Series 2020 49 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (48.5'' Diag), Model # 49NANO85UNA is a 4K TV, meaning, it has a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 (i.e. 4K). Like any other TV, it will always play any video signal it receives at its native resolution, and when it receives video signals that are at a lower resolution, it has a built-in 4K Upscaler that will upconvert the lower resolution signals to its native resolution or as close as it can get that signal depending on how much data the signal contains...^IFV
