What people are saying

Rated 2 out of 5 by from One star for each year it worked If it didn’t die after only two years I would only have good things to say. The power board went out and isn’t covered by warranty. LG doesn’t care. We are very sad.

can I connect my desktop to the OLED65E9PUA

Asked by: ED81
If your desktop supports Bluetooth, you can pair it with the LG E9 Glass 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65E9PUA via Bluetooth, or if you have Windows 7 or later installed on your PC, you can play music, video, photos, etc. on your TV without needing to install a separate program using the Content Share feature in the TV by right-clicking the music/video/photo file you wish to play, then select your model using the “Play To” feature built into Windows 7 or later to play the file. You can also use LG's SmartShare PC Software to play the content saved on your PC. Both the TV and your PC must be on the same network. You can download and install LG's SmartShare PC Software from the LG website ( If your PC supports Screen Share, you can enable that to display its screen on the TV. The TV will show in a list of available devices on your PC and after you select the TV from that list to request a connection, the TV will display your PC screen after a connection is established...^Ivan

Does the art work burn through the screen if left on for hours?

Asked by: Mimih
The artwork and pictures that are displayed from the Gallery mode in the LG E9 Glass 55 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55E9PUA or on any of our TVs that feature the Gallery Mode fade to black as they transition to another image and they change up periodically to avoid any image burn-in on the screen while displaying the works of art...^Ivan

Where can I get a wall mount for a e9 65 oled?  I know lg makes the 480 and 420 mounts. Lg doesn’t sell them and any retailer listed on the accessories page that lg suggests say they do sell the items but no one stocks or all say temporarily unavailable.

Asked by: Anonymous
If the retailers and online sites listed when you click the 'Where to Buy' button on the product pages for the LG EZ Slim Wall Mount for 2019 LG OLED, NanoCell and UHD TVs, Model # OLW480B and the LG EZ Slim Wall Mount for 2016/2017 OLED and Premium UHD LED TVs, Model # OTW420B are out of stock or saying that they are temporarily unavailable, they may just be out of stock on these products. You can ask them if they have an estimated date of delivery or if they can alert you if and when they have the wall mounts available. Regrettably, we do not have listings for retailers or online sites that are not our partners or LG Authorized Dealers who might be selling the wall mounts. The LG E9 Glass 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65E9PUA is a VESA compliant TV that has a VESA Wall Mount Interface Pattern of 300 x 200mm so any other VESA Compliant Wall Mount, regardless of type, brand or manufacturer that supports the TV's Wall Mount Interface Pattern can also be used to mount the TV...^IFV

I want to buy an OLED but need one under 45 to 50 inch. Will you be releasing one small er than 55 inch?

Asked by: BJST

Does LG make a "dumb" TV? I use streaming services (PSvue, Netflix, Amazon Prime) via Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire and have my own surround sound amp and speakers. So I would like to have your OLED display without all the other non-video options.

Asked by: artie1
Have to agree about Roku. I updated ours to the 2019 Ultra or whatever it is when we ordered the E9. We all have noticed watching from the E9 is faster, easier, and I think has significantly better quality than Roku. Plus every Roku we've had randomly freezes, claims no internet when there is, etc etc so not missing that either.

I need to wall mount this.  Will this work with a sanus premium series blt2-blt1 model?   Premium Series Tilting Tv Wall Mount For Most 42" - 90" Flat-panel Tvs (BLT2-B1) Black - New

Asked by: Finley Grace
Hi Finley. Regrettably, the Sanus Wall Mount shown in the link that you gave does not indicate what VESA Wall Mount Interface Pattern it supports so we cannot determine if it can be used to mount the LG E9 Glass 55 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55E9PUA. The OLED55E9PUA has a VESA Wall Mount Interface Pattern of 300 x 200 mm. You can contact Sanus to ask if the BLT2-B1 Tilting Mount supports that pattern. The LG EZ Slim Wall Mount, Model # OTW420B is a Full Motion Wall Mount that is designed for our OLEDs...^IFV

What is the difference between OLED and QLED?

Asked by: bk7105
We’ve had two of the Samsung QLED and factually they are really just the same LED quality you’ll see on most non-OLED displays. Ours all suffered varying but bright distracting ”spotlights” shining in from the corners after about 6 months and uneven lighting that is clearly noticeable during movies with darker scenes. Most of all the QLED displays can’t come close to these magnificent OLED displays in saturation, HDR, colors, everything really because QLED can only manage zones of local dimming and you pay significantly for more of those of course. The OLED controls every single pixel separately -  it’s actually turning them off in dark space scenes which means your eyes aren’t competing with greys for darkness and you can see tiny details so clearly like a distant ships engine firing with hues and colors that are an order of magnitude at least, superior to QLED zones. To me that’s what these LG OLED’s (E8, C9, E9 that I have experienced) do incredibly well. Definitely go see the difference before deciding I’d suggest.

What frequency of burn in problems are there ?

Asked by: Starrider8888
On our E9 65” there is Pixel Refresher in the Picture/OLED Panel Settings/Additional Settings. You can easily set it to start next time you turn the TV off, it takes about an hour and if you turn back on before it’s done, no problem. Otherwise it will display that it ran successfully at next power on. No image is on the screen during it’s run.I find that LG has genuinely considered the real-world details and caring for this investment. In fact the picture is so amazing on ours I’d risk the burn in anyway but I have a neighbor whose E8 is still perfect with no burn in or issues after 18 months and his kids watch exactly the logo heavy stuff that might be an issue left on for long periods.
