Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement TV Image Retention I had image retention on my 2.5 year old TV, I believe this issue has been fixed. LG sent out a replacement panel and the TV was no longer under warranty. TV looks great again, I would buy another LG OLED when I need a TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So glad I decided to invest in LG Oled I've been eyeing the LG OLED TV's for several years. To be blunt, they were initially out of my price range. It was 'want' vs 'need' for the longest time. I 'want' a lot of stuff, heck we all do, right? Well, recently my daughter moved out on her own and needed a TV. Here was my opportunity!! I suggested to my wife that we give our Samsung 65 inch LCD to her for her new place. My wife saw right through this and said: "Well that's nice of you, now let me guess, you want to go buy an OLED now?". Busted. But... It was early March and the NEW models of TV's were starting to roll out. This meant that last year's models were starting to drop in price. I had been monitoring the LG C1 77 inch price at Costco. It had come down close to $1K from the original price. Bam!! Time to pull the trigger, and am I glad I did!! This TV is AWESOME. In fact it's TOO awesome. 4K and/or HDR content looks insanely good on this set. Standard HD does as well...for the most part. Let me explain. This TV is so good that flaws and slow bitrate from some TV streaming services are exposed. Specifically YouTubeTV, which we use for our TV service. Utilizing the vast number of settings in the C1, I have the picture where I can tolerate it when watching YTTV, in fact it is pretty good right now. We stream using a hard wired fiber gig connection, problem is YTTV is compressed and streams at a very low bitrate. I could have a 10 gig connection and it would not matter, so it is what it is until YTTV offers a better bitrate. I am aware of their 4K package, but it is a joke with next to zero content. Now, onto the other apps... HBO Max, Disney+, Netflix etc... Those stream at the highest quality rate you can get and pay for within their packages. The resulting picture on this set if OFF THE CHARTS great. Bottom line: This is the best quality, best picture I have experienced on ANY tv set I have ever owned. With LG quality, you do indeed get what you pay for!! Strongly recommend this set!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Image but I bought my 65" OLED in Nov. and added 2yr extended warranty because I was advised by sales rep that they are known to die. Pros: The picture is remarkable, especially if you are watching 4K videos The TV is responsive and refresh rate is fast. The viewing angles is unbelievably dynamic. I can almost see the entire screen while standing parallel to the tv as if I was in front of it. The screen is also extremely thin. Smaller than my iPhone 11 Pro. But the back panel where all the connections are makes is bulky and heavy. Cons: Audio quality is terrible. Definitely invest in a soundbar The TV will die after 2 yrs. It literally died 2 months after my 2yr extended warranty expired. It just won't power on. I tried every YouTube suggestion as well as tech support. The 65" looks smaller on my wall than it did in the store but that's just my perspective

There is a version of this TV sold at Costco. Is the only difference between this TV (OLED55C9PUA) and the Costco one (OLED55CXAUA.AUS) is that the Costco model has a α9 Gen 3 AI processor 4K instead of a Gen 2 processor? Do you offer a Gen 3 unit here?

The LG C9 55 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55C9PUA is a 2019 model and all 2019 LG OLED models except for the LG B9 series OLEDs use the LG α9 Gen 2 Intelligent Processor.
