What people are saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from OLED Burn In Great TV and picture until severe burn-in sets in, primarily on red and yellow screens, where red turns into dark blobs and streaks and yellow turns green, and numerous artifacts appear, tickers, badges. etc. LG replaced the screen after two years, same burn in after another two years but after hours of calls and runarounds, LG would not replace again...out of warranty. Very disappointed in LG customer support. I will not purchase another LG OLED TV.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It has a great picture and sound. I bought the OLED65E7P TV on 9/2017 for home use. By 4/2019, The screen had a logo burned-in. LG did a "one-time" replacement of the panel. in 5/2019. The panel is still performing well. Having owned several LCD TVs, including an LG 55LA9700 that is now 8 years old, I was used to not worrying about burn-in and thought that issue was a plasma TV issue. Well, OLED did burn-in and LG did make the right move in replacing the panel. We continue to enjoy TV's great performance as it approaches 5th birthday.

I did the comparison but what is the real difference between the OLED65C7P and the OLED65E7P? The side by side doesn't say much and when you click on each and read the descriptions and tech specs for each its the same but a $1,000 price?

Asked by: Macslayer27
Technically, LG OLED E7 and OLED C7 are supported with almost similar technology and also have almost similar features. The major difference between them is about their design where LG OLED E7 comes with a unique and ultra-thin design called “Picture on Glass” while LG OLED C7 comes with a standard design like most of the TVs which available in the market. The outer of the edges of E7 is glass and looks translucent with about 5 mm of width, while the inner of the edges is a black border with about 10 mm of width. Meanwhile, when viewed from the side, OLED E7 looks very thin at two-thirds of the top, while in the bottom third of the TV looks thicker where in this part, all of the electronic component and built-in sound bar are located. On the base of the TV, there is a metal plate stand that supports the TV. On the other hand, the design of LG OLED C7 is similar to the predecessor B6. Like E7, when viewed from the side, the TV looks very thin at two third the top while in bottom third, it also looks thicker and this is also a part where all electronic component are located. But unlike the E7, the OLED C7 doesn’t have glass design and a built-in soundbar. The LG OLED E7 has a built-in sound bar that designed which blend with the main panel for a more aesthetic look...^IFV
