What people are saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ads as notifications that you can not switch off Bought this TV about half a month ago. The moment I connected it to the internet, I got a notification that contained AppleTV promotion add. About a month ago I started getting Disney+ adds. Can not switch the adds off and customer support is also clueless about it. Secondly, you can not turn off bluetooth discovery. Everyone can see my TV and can attempt to connect to it, which always gives you a pop-up and ruins the movie experience

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great picture but problems with reliability I bought this tv in Feb 2021. After about a year, a vertical black line came on the screen. It would usually disappear after a while but we were concerned the front picture panel was already starting to degrade. After a few months of experimenting to remove the line, LG stepped up and replaced the panel. So far, so good but a successful experience was achieved only because LG went outside the 1 year warranty period to fix the faulty product. The warranty on the OLED screen needs to be much longer.

What is the hardwire ethernet connection speed. I have had the TV for 2 years and finally got around to connecting the hardwire. It looks like it is only connecting at 100Mbps. That seems odd for a TV with such advanced features?

Asked by: Chucksteer
The Ethernet port for the LG CX 55 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55CXPUA is 100Mbps as you have noted. That is not odd at all. That is the speed for Ethernet ports on a large majority of TVs currently in the market regardless of brand or manufacturer. A good internet speed is anywhere between 25 and 100 Mbps. Speeds of 25 Mbps allow up to 2 devices to stream, surf the web and check emails. 50 to 100 Mbps allow a few more people to stream in HD or even 4K, stream music, game, browse social media, and work from home. If you want to stream 4K content to get the best picture for your 4K smart TV, you'll need a connection of at least 25 Mbps...^Ivan

Where do i hook up my external digital antenna on my lg m4201c -BA televison?

Asked by: Lost heart_n_soul
Regrettably, LG m4201c-BA is not an LG model number. Please check the nameplate attached to the back of the TV again for the correct model number. On LG TVs, there is an F-type, 75-Ohm Coaxial connector on the back labeled 'Antenna/Cable In' which is the connector that is used to connect an external or internal antenna...^Ivan

How does the picture change if viewing on an angle? Which tv is best viewed on an angle?

Asked by: El34
OLED TVs have wide viewing angles and much better viewing angles than LED LCD TVs. Compared to other TV technologies, those technologies cannot come close to matching up well with OLED TV technology when it comes to wide-angle viewing and OLED TVs will provide an excellent viewing experience even from the most extreme angles. That’s because OLED panels have no need for backlighting and boast self-emissive pixels, which provide almost perfectly uniform screens—even when viewing from the side. The LG CX 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLEDCXPUA is a 2020 model and it delivers the same exceptional picture quality as other OLED screen options. Since this OLED TV can turn off individual pixels, the black uniformity is perfect. It has great viewing angles, and the image remains accurate when viewing from the side, which is great for a wide seating area...^Ivan

What tv bracket do you recommend for 77 inch oled lg

Asked by: Johnathan12
Any VESA Compliant Wall Mount Bracket that supports the VESA Wall Mount Interface pattern on the TV can be used to mount the TV. Wall Mount brackets come in three types; Fixed Wall Mounts, Tilting Wall Mounts, or Full Motion (aka Articulating Wall Mounts). As long as they are VESA Compliant & they support the VESA Wall Mount Interface Pattern on the TV, regardless of brand or manufacturer, they will work. The LG CX 77 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (76.7'' Diag), Model # OLED77CXPUA is a VESA compliant display that has a VESA Wall Mount Interface Pattern of 400 x 200. The LG EZ Slim Wall Mount, Model # OLW480B is a full-motion wall mount that is recommended in the owner's manual for the TV. The type of wall mount bracket that works best for you will be the one that best suits your needs...^Ivan

I bought the 48" at Costco. When setting it up it says it is not the magic remote. Therefore I can not control my Dish Cable Box or Marantiz stereo. What Magic Remote do I need to buy to allow those functions?

Asked by: SWF51
The LG CX 48 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (48.2'' Diag), Model # OLED48CXPUB, like all our other LG OLED TVs comes with an LG Magic Remote, Model # AN-MR20GA as an included accessory. This is the only LG Magic Remote that is compatible with 2020 LG Smart TVs that are compatible with our LG Magic Remotes. When you set up the universal remote control, you can control peripherals (Blu-ray/DVD player, home theater, set-top box, etc.) with the Magic Remote rather than using their dedicated remote controls. The devices have to be connected to the TV's HDMI inputs, and you have to turn the devices on. The TV will recognize the connected device to automatically set the universal remote control without having to set it manually. After setting the universal remote control, you may need to do some additional user settings, and it may take several seconds to complete the setting for the universal remote control. Depending on the connected device, the automatic setting feature for universal remote control (automatic device connection) may not be supported...^Ivan
