Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture! I bought this OLED TV, after looking into the quality of OLED. The picture can't be beat! Great picture, with many options for viewing. Many options also, for sound quality. Can be connected to WI Fi, Blue tooth, antenna, and cable. The price was fantastic for the quality, with so many options, for an OLED TV. There are to many great things, to mention in a review, from the processor, gaming, sports, thin design, etc. Don't think twice! If you are reading this review, it's time to quit thinking, and buy one. You won't regret it!

I purchased an OLED a few years ago and have burn in and discoloration on the center of the screen.  Do your new OLED televisions still do this?

    Asked by: Scott924
I have had an LG Curved OLED 1080p Smart TV - 55'' Class (54.6'' Diag), Model # 55EG9100 since 2015 that my children have played their Xbox and PlayStation games on and it has never developed any sign or image retention or burn-in at all in all those years. Burn-in and image retention are possible on virtually any display. However, with an LG OLED TV, any risk of burn-in or image retention have been addressed through the use of technology that not only helps protect against damage to the screen, but features self-healing properties so that any short-term image retention that may occur is quickly rectified. It is rare for an average TV consumer to create an environment that could result in burn-in. Most cases of burn-in in televisions is a result of static images or on-screen elements displaying on the screen uninterrupted for many hours or days at a time – with brightness typically at peak levels. So, it is possible to create image retention in almost any display if one really tries hard enough. And even if image retention does occur from extreme usage, it can usually be mitigated within a short period of time by turning the display off for a while, and watching a few hours of varying content (such as your standard TV watching and channel-surfing). Additionally, LG OLED TVs come with special features and settings to preserve image quality and prevent burn-in and image retention. First, there is a Screen Saver feature that will turn on automatically if the TV detects that a static image is displayed on screen after approximately two minutes. There are also three options (available in Menu setting > Picture settings > OLED panel settings) that can be used to preserve image quality. Our new 2022 models have not been released yet and they will not be out until near the end of the first quarter of the year or little later. We unveiled and showcased our new 2022 models recently at CES (Jan 5, 2022 – Jan 7, 2022) with the G2 being our brightest OLED TV yet, able to achieve a brightness increase of about 20% compared to the C2. The panel uses a new heat dissipation technology. Both the C2 and the G2 will have the evo panel, but the C2 will not be as bright as the G2...^Ivan

I have a15' model 9600 what new model would be similar in quality and price???

    Asked by: MATTY J
Could you please give us the full model number for the 15' model 9600 that you are referring to? LG did not manufacture a 15' 9600 model unless you are referring to the 2015 LG Curved OLED 4K Smart TV - 65'' Class (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65EG9600. LG does not manufacture curved OLED TVs anymore and you can view our current lineup of 65" or 55" OLED Models at https://www.lg.com/us/tvs. There are filters for Screen Size, Price, and Type of TVs that you can use to narrow your search to find a TV that you might be interested in. The technology used in our current lineup of TVs is much more advanced and produces a better picture quality and more advanced features on the TVs than the 2015 models did and the pricing structure for the TV will not be the same as prices have dropped over the years...^ivan

What is the difference between B and C series? Cannot find any difference on this we site.

    Asked by: bob27y
If you are comparing our 2021 OLED TV models, the specifications on the product detail pages for our LG B1 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® series models and for our LG C1 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® series models show that the B1 series employs the α7 Gen4 AI Processor 4K and the C1 series employs the more advanced α9 Gen 4 AI Processor 4K. Specs also show that the B1 series only supports Latest HDMI (4K @ 120Hz) in HDMI ports 3,4 while the C1 series supports Latest HDMI (4K @ 120Hz) in HDMI ports 1,2,3,and 4, meaning that all of the ports for the C1 series are HDMI 2.1 ports and only 2 of the HDMI ports (HDMI 3 & 4) on the B1 series are HDMI 2.1 ports. What year and month model is the OLED77B1PUA and most importantly, why isn't the year shown anywhere on the spec page?

    Asked by: tom234
On the product detail page on our site for the LG B1 77 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (76.7'' Diag), Model # OLED77B1PUA, the TV is advertised as "NEW" which should indicate that it is a 2021 model. In the naming convention for our OLED TVs, the year of development for our B1 series is 2021, the year of development for the BX series is 2020 ('X' in this case is the roman numeral for 10), the year of development for the B9 series is 2019, 2018 for the B8 series, 2017 for the B7 series. If you are following our naming convention from these examples. you will notice that the number after the B for the B series OLEDs indicates the year of development until you get to the 'X' which indicates the "0" for 2020 even though "X" is the Roman numeral for "10". Then naming convention uses the number "1" to indicate the year 2021. If you need to know the month for when the TV was manufactured, you will need to look at the nameplate that is attached to the back of the TV that shows the Country of Manufacture/Country of Assembly, and the Date of Manufacture, and will also have the Model Number and Serial Number on it...^Ivan

Does this particular model has a tendency of burn in? My 5 year old OLED has burn in. Can not get rid of it.

    Asked by: general 6969
What is the model number for the 5-year old OLED that you have? I have a 6-year old curved OLED that my children have played their Xbox and PlayStation games on & I watch a lot of programs that have static logos and I don't have any sign of burn-in at all. Burn-in and image retention are possible on virtually any display. However, with an LG OLED TV, any risk of burn-in or image retention has been addressed through the use of technology that not only helps protect against damage to the screen but features self-healing properties so that any short-term image retention that may occur is quickly rectified. The LG B1 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65B1PUA comes with special features and settings to preserve image quality and prevent burn in and image retention. With the OLED Screen Saver feature in the TV's menu settings, you can improve image quality issues related to image sticking when the screen has been on for a certain amount of time. First is the Pixel Cleaning feature that calibrates any issues that may arise on the screen when your TV has been turned on for a long time. Calibration takes more than an hour. It can be operated once when the TV is off or started while the TV is on. If you use the Start Now to begin the pixel cleaning while the TV is on, the TV will automatically turn off when Pixel Cleaning starts running then turn back on when it is done. Secondly is Screen Move which is a feature that moves the screen slightly at regular intervals to prevent image from sticking on the display panel. Then there is the Adjust Logo Brightness that adjusts the luminance of static images such as logos within content to correct potential picture quality issues...^IFV
