Been attempting to slow down rust but after 4 years from purchase it has spread around upper casing and surrounding areas and damaging clothes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible performance, no repair options, expensive Basically the same 1 star issues as others. Perpetually have unbalanced load errors, multiple spin attempts for hours, Barely usable and uses more water and electricity than the product spec sheet. Left to attempt repairs with expensive parts and expensive repair shops stumped. Maybe I'll try to run it with a Raspberry pi. Not bad enough to pitch it, not good enough to keep it and it is expensive. Top of the line pricing... For what? Really pretty stuff to haul out to the curb.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst machine I've ever had This machine unbalances all the time. Impossible to clean down the sides of the rotating drum. Softener dispenser doesn't dispense. Just an awful machine. LG came several times to "fix" warranties issues, but they never worked. Can't wait to get rid of it.

Recently, our washing machine has been stopping with 12 minutes remaining, most often on the Bright Whites setting when doing towels. We have to unplug to "reset" then run a rinse and spin cycle to finish.

No matter what cycle I run the washer on it leaves bleach like streaks on my clothing hat doesn’t come out! Occurs when I don’t use bleach and quit frankly haven’t used bleach at all In about a month and still does this. What needs to be done ? I’m ruinin

How do you turn light on? I called myself holding the cycle button down where light is for 3 seconds thjnkingnit would toggle up to light but it beeps twice. Does nothing. Using permanent press cycle

Cl flashing and will not start

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this washing machine. The display code you have noted is the CHILD LOCK or CONTROL LOCK. According to the information listed on page 26 of the owner’s manual, this can be deactivated by pressing and holding the SIGNAL button for 3 seconds, while the power is active.

Shows OE  signal will not drain

Possible causes for this symptom can be that the drain hose is bent, pinched or clogged. If checking this drain does not resolve the matter, then the machine may require service. WHAT IS A CODE UE

Code "UE" on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.7 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity High Efficiency Top Load Washer with WaveForce™, Model # WT5170HV is an indicator that informs you that the washer has an unbalanced load. Code 'uE" indicates that it is attempting to balance your load. During this time, the washer will fill with water in order to agitate and separate the items, then drain and try to spin again. The "uE" code will alternate with the time display. After three attempts to balance your load, the "uE" code will change to "UE", meaning that the washer was unable to rebalance the load and requires your assistance. Check to make sure that the washer is properly leveled as that can also cause the "UE" code. If you still have a copy of your owner's manual, you will find a list on page 30 with explanations of the codes that may appear on your display that you can refer to should they show...^IFV

Our washer appears to have no power. Power at the plug. Start button makes a noise but no lights or response from the board  washer is full and door is locked. Can you help?
