39L Black NeoChef Microwave with Smart Inverter, Convection Oven

I bought the product in December 2017. At first it was a great product, but then it started resetting itself, or just stopped working. I took it in for repairs & some sensor had to be replaced (luckily under warranty). It worked fine and then problems started again, the main problem being that you battle to get it going. When you press the start button, the light goes on & the oven stops immediately. To get the microwave going, you had to set it on convection function, press start & eventually the iven would work. Without opening the door, you could then set it on microwave. That only worked for a while & no matter what setting you put it on, it just doesn't want to work. What upsets me most is that when you google reviews on this product, it's clear that LG should've just recalled the product, because everybody is complaining about similar problems. I took screenshots of the reviews so will gladly forward that as well. I took the oven in & before they even assess it I had to pay R300 up front - WHY? It's not my fault LG can't fix the problem. I'm still waiting on feedback from the repair Centre in Cape Town, but i refuse to pay a cent for any repairs, whether it's the magnetron that's faulty (still under warranty) or not. My previous LG Convection oven was bought in 1997 & is still going, as I sold it to a friend when I purchased this one. If that's the quality of products made by LG now (I have a ThinQ 49 UHD TV as well), I will never buy any LG products again & I make a point to spread the word about the quality & service Hide Review
