Have had this just over 3 weeks now, replacement for a 32 inch tv being used as monitor via VGA through a desktop over last 3 years.
Upgrade on the graphics card to HDMI, and a stunning results on this monitor.
Was looking for something a bit different than the usual 27inch stuff around, 32 / 40 inch monitors have not come close to this on price and specs.
It took a little getting used to regards to the ultra-wide aspect.
Am not gamer, but, with download of Ultrawidify from Firefox, has made Youtube a pleasure to view with removing most of black if not all black boarders depending on content.
HD streaming is brilliant.
Although the white backing may not be to the liking of some, it makes for a different screen, am used to it as my LG tv is same.
Split screen software very different, have only used the 2 at present, great for Outlook and Youtube at the same time. A real plus for multi screen users, would have been nic efor LG to have added extra software to the disk for example Ultrawidify .
Good menu's very similar to the LG tv nice to use as have one, although, the settings button a little hard find and work.
Only thing was to dim the brightness, and slightly adjusted contrast to my personal use.
The mat finish is very restful to the eyes, especially with a monitor this size.
Only drawbacks are:-
The screen cannot be moved up or down, just tilt.
The screen is a little flimsy could have better support with brackets at either side, but not as heavy as some monitors.
However, the stand base is nicely sculptured as a curve.
No cable management.
The inbuilt sound not great have turned them off, needs to be run through a sound system, an currently running a pair of Bose desktop speakers, no sub from my desktop pc.
With the 3 Year LG Warranty, given the price, screen size and picture quality, I Highly recommend this monitor.
