[LG PuriCare Water Purifier] Troubleshooting methods

Water is dispensed slowly or not at all.

➔ Turn the valve near the feed water source counterclockwise to open it.

The faucet valve is used to control the flow of water from the plumbing.
It is usually located at the rear of the faucet.
If the faucet is attached to the sink, then the valve should be located underneath the sink.
The water purifier will dispense slowly if this valve is not fully open.

➔ Turn the middle water supply valve counterclockwise to open it.

Behind the water purifier, there is a middle water supply valve which connects to the sink plumbing.
The water purifier will dispense slowly if this valve is not fully open, so, please make sure to fully open it.

Turning the middle valve behind the water purifier and the faucet valve underneath the sink counterclockwise to make sure water is dispensed properly.

➔ If the water supply hose is compressed or kinked, straighten it to ensure a smooth water flow.

If there is no water from the sink or bathroom faucets, the whole house might be cut off from water.
If it is not a utility shut off, check that the water supply hose is not compressed or kinked.
The water flow might be weak due to low water pressure.
Especially if the water supply hose is positioned in a place with limited visibility, such as beneath the sink, ensure to inspect the hose's condition and straighten it if necessary.

The hot water button cannot be selected and hot water does not dispense.

For your safety, the hot water function on PuriCare water purifiers can be locked.
If the hot water function is locked, the hot water button does not light up.
Pressing the button will not select it; instead, it will just flicker.
In this case, long press the hot water button for 3 seconds to unlock it.

Press the hot water button for more than 3 seconds

The Up-down Auto Moving Tap does not move.

➔ If the auto moving tap does not operate, then first check if the auto up/down feature is turned on.

If the triangular buttons located above the other buttons are not lit, it means that the auto up/down feature is turned off.
Press the Volume button for 3 seconds to turn on the auto up/down feature.
On Objet Collection water purifiers, activate the auto up/down feature by simultaneously pressing the Favourite and Outlet Sterilize buttons for 3 seconds.

In addition, if there are splashes of coffee, drinks and other stains around the sensor that detects the height of the container, wipe it off before continuing to use.

Wiping away foreign substances from the sensor area

The dispensing button changed to an orange color.

When it is about time to replace the water purifier filter, the filter replacement indicator on the [Dispense] button lights up in orange instead of blue.
The orange LED lights up when the dispensing time exceeds 1700 minutes, signaling the need for a filter replacement.
UF filters allow for the safe dispensing of up to 1800 liters regardless of the orange light being illuminated.
Remember to reset the indicator after replacing the filter so the indicator light does not remain orange.

Filter reset : Long press the Cold button for more than 3 seconds.
