What people are saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Already concerned! Love the features, however the jury is still out on machine itself, the popcorn button seems to be set for too long and burns the popcorn also the fan is already making noise. and I need to have service come look at it. I've only had machine about a month. Fan works great though and the extend feature is definitely a bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from overall, a nice product. There is a hairline crack on the door, below the window, that is apparently cosmetic, but doesn't look real good. The extending exhaust hood, which was a main selling point, is barely, if at all, an improvement over others I have owned. Having said that, this microwave has performed well for almost two years of daily use, both reheating, and preparing meals. Very good controls, easy to use, and resets easily after power outages.

Are the 2 grease filters in the front of Extenda vent (hidden when Extenda pushed in) removable for washing?

Asked by: DLEE
We appreciate your interest in this microwave oven. It appears that the filters on the ExtendaVent are the only grease filters that are removable. The other set appears to be a heat vent only, with no filters involved.

which type micro wave can be installed in a cabinet

width of space is 25 inches
Asked by: mutt
An over the range is usually best installed In cabinets, however my advice would be for you to measure your cabinet space (width, length, and height) and take these measurements to a dealer. The dealer will tell you exactly what you need. You will then have the information you need to take your time and make a selection in price range and features..

Where do I buy replacement filters

Where do we purchase the 3 filters in the machine. The two under the microwave are skimpy and won't last that long. I want to have extra on hand. Thank you, MCC
Asked by: MCC11
Accessories can be obtained through our parts distributor, MCM Electronics. Their contact number, for placing orders, is 800-824-9491. You can also use their website, at http://www.mcmelectronics.com/content/en-US/forms/lg_parts. The part number for the two lower grease filters is 5230W1A012B. They are separate from their frames. The upper charcoal filter is part number 5230W1A003C.

Where are serviceable on board fuses located?

My turntable quit so I checked voltage at the motor and am reading zero volts whether system is active or idle. I assume there are fuses located somewhere within the oven unit.

space to the top of range

What is the distance recommended between range top and the oven
Asked by: Yvon
The LG USA website and manual says 30 inches from the top of the microwave (very top) and the stove. I would also measure your big pots for clearance assurance.
