I bought my new LG dryer a week ago. So far the dryer is performing very good. Getting use to the new cycle settings such as the cycles under sensor dry, you can not adjust the temperature just the dryness level. Have not tinker with WIFI capability yet.

HAPPY WITH OUR LG GAS/LPG DRYER
We installed our propane gas dryer in mid-November after converting it to propane/LPG from natural gas (as configured from the factory). We discussed back and forth on whether to switch to an electric dryer or stay with propane. Our utility room only has a propane dryer connection so we would have had to hire an electrician to install a 220V electrical outlet. It was less for the gas to propane conversion than to have a 220V electrical outlet installed. So, propane we went. We are very
... read more pleased with the LG propane dryer. Our previous washer/dryer set had a small capacity, but our new LG washer/dryer set easily handles large bedding articles and bulky clothing items. In addition, we have 2 sons that continue to bring their clothes home to launder. The LG set gets clothes cleaner, dries clothes better, and is definitely more energy-efficient. Our only complaint is that NOTHING is provided by LG to assist in either the propane conversion or the gas installation process (unlike the propane conversion kit that LG includes with their gas stoves). Be forewarned: you must buy a LPG converter orifice to replace the existing NG orifice that is installed the dryer if you want to use this dryer with propane fuel. You must also purchase a 3/8” NPT female-to-3/8” male flared brass fitting to install from the gas pipe on the back of the dryer to the LPG gas connector hose. The gas hose also does not come with the dryer, so you will also need to purchase this (with 3/8” fittings and ½” hose). Finally, you need some good thread sealant/pipe dope for all the threaded connections (do NOT used Teflon tape). NONE of these required products come with the dryer. After we bought it all and had the LPG orifice installed by a local appliance store, it came out to about $150 (even though we installed this dryer ourselves at home). Add this to the additional $100 that the dryer cost over LG’s electric model, it still came out barely cheaper than the $300 we would have had to spend to install a new 220V electrical outlet. All in all, we are very happy with our LG gas dryer (and washer) and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone considering it for purchase.

Love the features!
I bought this LG gas dryer to replace my old 11 year old dryer. It has a variety of settings and I love the sensor dry feature. It dries my clothes quicker than my old dryer. I like the timer feature so I know when my clothes will be done.
This dryer is unbelievably amazing. I’ve never had a dryer with steam cycle and this dryer has that and more. It’s steam fresh setting is just. Put a blouse or shirt that has wrinkles or you just want to freshen up and within a few minutes it looks new. I kid you not. It’s a smart technology dryer and tells you on your smart phone when your load is dry. It has so many useful settings like reducing static and energy saving. It’s so beautiful to look at side by side with the matching washer. It

Great match for the new washer I just bought also
Nice looking dryer and besides the appearance it also really performs and has lots of drying options to choose from. The steam option is something I've used only once but from the literature I've read I know it will be a feature that will come in handy when needed.

Great Multi-purpose Dryer!
We bought this dryer about 6 weeks ago and I’ve already used it over 20 times!! Ive found that the permanent press setting is nice. The clothes come out just slightly damp and dry quickly on the hanger. I’ve also used the steam setting a few times: once on a wrinkled shirt and the second to freshen up some new accent pillows. The signal plays a nice tune when the dryer is finished, but I really like how it texts me also!!
I purchased this high efficiency gas dryer because the one I had was over 13 years old and made such a racket I couldn't hear myself think!! This new LG is so quiet that I can leave the laundry room door open when it is running! With multiple options for drying, I am thrilled to add it to my family of LG appliances. I now own a washer (purchased with the dryer) Oven/range, "door in the door refrigerator", microwave and of course, the dryer! I am very pleased!!

Great dryer, great price and power efficient
We just made our purchase 2 weeks ago and couldn't be more thrilled. One of the best options is the LG app, that will tell you when your drying cycle is complete. I'm a little hard of hearing, so I can't hear the tune it plays, so it's a huge help. Also it very energy efficient and also will let you know when your clothes are completely dry, this is going to save us some money not having to restart the dryer a couple of times to get clothes completely dry. It is high tech, so if you are used to

bought this about a month ago as part of a washer/dryer pair. Dryer is great, quiet and dries quickly. The auto-sense works well and lets me know when the clothes are dry insr=tead of continueing to run for a set time The energy save feature is alright, seems to reduce the heat on the gas dryer a bit too much so it takes loner to dry which uses more electricity.
I bought this 2 months ago after having my old one 20 years old! I was nervous getting new since they aren’t made the same and sure enough after one month it was making crazy loud noises and the repair guy said it needed a new clutch and drain pan!!! I called Lowe’s and thankfully they replaced since we were within 30 days. Phew!
Working g well so far.

So far so good!
We have only had our appliances for a little over a month, but so far so good. I was able (after a couple hours) to get the washer on my WiFi, I still haven’t been able to get the dryer online though. That might be something LG wants to look into, why it’s so hard. Both the washer and dryer appear to be doing a good job, the nice part is that the clothes come out of the washer pretty well spun dry, an issue we had with the Samsung junk we had before. Both cycles seems to only take about 30

Relief. Oh Sweet Relief
My previous dryer was a total nightmare. It was BUZZZZZZZZZ, downstairs to find damp clothes, start it up again, BUZZZZZZZZ, repeat until a few hours later I had somewhat dry enough clothes to put away. I had enough and I went with the LG. Boy is this thing sharp and I like the options. My wife loves the option to open up the door in two different ways. What we both like... is the fact I can put a load in, tell it how dry I want it, and set the temp and just forget about it. The app tells me my

Great value, great quality/
I bought this dryer after researching several other brands, and LG stood out as the best. I have not been disappointed in my purchase. It is extremely quiet. It has a lot of features that allow me to select the best drying option for my clothes. I dry 8 to 12 loads a week. The only downside might be the display which is all black and sometimes a bit difficult to see the options.

1st new dryer in almost 20 yrs
My washer was broken and I decided to get the matching pair dryer even it’s still running fine. After reading much reviews and checking out the consumer report, I decided to get this dryer. I only have this dryer for couple weeks; my first impression, the dial has a lots of options. But then after couple uses, it’s easy to use and selection on the dial is very self explanatory. Clothes are dry fast and it smells good!
I am a senior citizen and was a little afraid of the digital settings but they are easy to use. I really love the sound of the finished load just a ding. My other dryer had a loud buzzer and then it would start up again and then another buzzer very annoying.I do miss the light inside the dryer. There is none.

Very pleased with LG dryer!
We’ve had this dryer (gas version) for about one month and have been very pleased with it. Our old dryer would always leave the clothes wrinkled regardless of what settings we used, but the LG does a superb job of drying the clothes without leaving wrinkles. It’s a fairly quiet machine and plays a pleasant tune when the cycle is done. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a drum light.

The features and performance of this dryer are excellent. I particularly like the lint screen; it is large, extending all the way to the bottom of the dryer, and very easy to clean. This dryer is also very reasonably priced for the features it offers.
