What people are saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke down in less than a year- no support from lg The power no longer works after less than a year. I am shocked that a tv in the modern era is so shoddy. i have tired to schedule a reapir but the LG websit keeps saying that the serial number is wrong.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard to get 4K Terrific picture. But at least for me, the 4K capability is useless for now. Netflix streaming in 4K via the ethernet cable connection results in frequent stoppage for buffering. (My download speed is 180M, but this TV only supports up to 100M. Don't know if that is the issue. It happens on multiple shows. Netflix itself may be the issue, but 4K just doesn't work). Amazon Prime video via ethernet doesn't work at all (it lets you get as far as choosing something to stream, but never plays it. This may be an Amazon issue.). So I watch everything via my cable box (Xfinity) which supports HD but not 4K. Netflix and Prime video work just fine there. I guess I'll have to wait for better cable TV equipment in order to get a 4K picture for more than 3 minutes at a time.

I bought a TV a month ago in my country a 55 OLEDB9PSB LG OLED model and it gets very hot so much so that my room is small and it feels warm with the TV. My question is if this model is like this or do I have a defective TV?

Asked by: Anonymous
The 55" OLEDB9PSB is not a model that was released in the U.S. and we do not have information for its specifications here in the U.S. Which country is your country where you purchased the TV from and what voltage does your country use? What is the power rating on the TV? Unfortunately, without knowing the specifications for the TV and its power rating, we cannot determine what the issue may be. The TV would have to be inspected by a qualified LG service technician or an authorized LG repair Service center, but that is where you run into issues because parts for TVs purchased outside of the U.S. are not available in the U.S. and the TV can only be serviced in its country of purchase. If the voltage for the TV is not the same as the voltage used in the U.S., that could be why the TV may be heating up to the point that it is heating up your room. The U.S. equivalent of your TV is the LG B9 55 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55B9PUA which has an operating temperature of 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F) which shouldn't heat the room up to the extent that it feels warm unless the room is an especially small room with no ventilation...^IFV
