Niche use case, but solid
This machine stepped in and solved out problems nicely. If you find yourself in the same boat, then it is worth considering.
Space was an issue for us. We could not fit in a dryer anywhere, and didn't have the space for a big clothes line.

Space was an issue for us. We could not fit in a dryer anywhere, and didn't have the space for a big clothes line.
Washing a full load (8kg) takes a bit more than 1h-1h30m, and the machine performs this task flawlessly. We did this for thicker clothing and bedding as this doesn't dry well in the dryer.
Washing and drying a full load (5kg) takes a fair amount longer, 4-5hrs, but has the benefit of being able to set it and forget it until it's done. Thinner clothing like T shirts, underwear, etc, anything that wasn't heavy or can't fit on the small clothes line we had with the heavier stuff. Machine dries these without an issue. A lot of complaints you'll see on dryers that claim they don't dry are actually overloading them. I'm not bashing on those reviews, of course I can't know for certain what they do, all I know is that when I was loading up and not erring on the side of caution with regards to weight, I often ended up with damp clothing.
I deduct one star because the machine doesn't make it easy to know whether it's close to its weight limit, only if it's over. A scale on the inside and feedback would have been nice, but common sense is a suitable replacement. Rather err on the side of caution and wash your thick coat or pants in a separate load.
This washing machine / dryer combo works nicely and saves space. If you have a very small apartment or need it for a boat, works well.

Worst ever washing machine
I have had this washing machine for just under two years... they have replaced it once and there after it broke two times where they needed to come out and fix it.
Now for the third time the machine has broke again.

The most amazing appliance in my house
We have had this machine for about a year and a half now.
It is the most amazing appliance in my house, it takes doing laundry to a whole new level. I load my washing in the machine in the morning set it to wash and dry, when I come home for lunch the laundry is clean and dry, no need to hang up and iron just fold up and pack away.
It has so many different settings for all types of washes, gentle care, cotton, mix, steam technology which does the ironing for you etc.
Furthermore it has NFC which allows the machine to be controlled through LG's thinQ app, there are endless cycles to set it to and the best part is the self diagnostic, it will notify you when your machine needs a tub clean and if anything is going wrong it notifies you.
We moved 2 months ago and I did washing for the first time in the new house, I switched on the machine and it notified me that it cannot wash because the tap is closed and there's no water supply.
We brag about this machine to our friends and family all the time and everybody is super jealous that our laundry life is so easy.
