LG EXPANDS ITS EDUCATION ECOSYSTEM WITH NEW CREATEBOARD AT FETC 2026
Next Generation LG CreateBoard TR3DQ Model with Faster Performance, Upgraded Classroom Tools and Expanded Capabilities Debuts at FETC 2026
ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 12, 2026 — Education technology leader LG Electronics USA is introducing the next-generation LG CreateBoard® TR3DQ interactive display on booth #2525 at the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) 2026, taking place January 12-13 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
Building on the success of LG’s TR3DK generation of CreateBoard solutions, the TR3DQ display, available immediately in 55-, 65-, 75- and 86-inch models, is engineered to enhance classroom engagement, collaboration and instructional flexibility. As the newest addition to LG’s expanding CreateBoard lineup – designed to support schools across a wide range of needs and budgets – the TR3DQ delivers meaningful improvements in processing speed, touch and writing responsiveness, audio clarity and ecosystem integration to support modern K-12 and higher-education environments. A 98-inch version of the new LG CreateBoard will follow later this year.
“The new LG CreateBoard TR3DQ gives schools a fast, intuitive and secure interactive display that fits seamlessly into today’s instructional environments,” said Victoria Sanville, education director for LG Electronics USA. “With improvements in writing performance, audio clarity, login functionality and overall responsiveness, combined with deeper integration across LG’s education display ecosystem, this latest LG CreateBoard model helps educators deliver more dynamic, student-focused learning experiences with greater consistency and impact as soon as the display is installed.”
At LG’s booth, live demonstrations show how the LG CreateBoard TR3DQ enables teachers to deliver lessons more fluidly while encouraging active participation from students. Attendees can experience the display’s intuitive interface, refined writing and touch performance, smooth navigation and improved sound in real time through demonstrations that show writing on screen, highlighting key points, launching activities and enabling collaborative work at the board. The demonstrations focus on practical, classroom-ready scenarios – including quick notetaking, group problem-solving, screen sharing and hybrid learning – illustrating how the new model supports creativity and critical thinking across a wide range of subjects and teaching styles.
The TR3DQ introduces hardware and software upgrades that streamline everyday classroom use. Powered by Android 14, it delivers fast performance and wide app compatibility. Improved touch technology offers more accurate, responsive writing for annotation and problem-solving. The integrated microphone array enhances voice clarity for hybrid lessons and recordings, while a built-in NFC reader supports secure login and simplified profile management in shared classrooms. Audio has also been upgraded to improve clarity in larger or acoustically challenging spaces.
The new LG CreateBoard model integrates seamlessly into LG’s broader education ecosystem and supports the LG CreateBoard® Suite, which provides unified tools for lesson delivery, wireless casting, content sharing, device management and remote updates. This consistency helps districts standardize on a single platform, simplify training and reduce IT overhead.
The LG CreateBoard TR3DQ is available now through select channels. The introduction of this latest model at FETC 2026 marks the first comprehensive public showcase of the new generation as part of LG’s expanded education display strategy. LG is additionally demonstrating how its broader portfolio of interactive displays, digital signage, DVLED solutions and software platforms work together to create a cohesive, campus-wide ecosystem that supports instruction, communication and student engagement.
