Does the LG WashTower have one plug?
The LG WashTower has two plugs: one for the washer and one for the dryer. This allows both units to be used simultaneously or independently.
If the dryer malfunctions, can the washer still work?
Although the LG WashTower appears as a single unit, it consists of two separate units: a washer and a dryer. Each has its own plug, so if one unit malfunctions, the other can still operate normally.
Is this a stack model?
The LG WashTower is a single, integrated unit with the dryer on top and the washer on the bottom. The control panel is centrally located, so there is no need for a stool to reach it. No stacking kit is required.
Can the doors be switched to swing right instead of left?
No, the door swing direction cannot be changed on this model.
Is this machine a vent or ventless type?
This is a ventless type, allowing installation in a wider range of locations.
What is “Smart Pairing”?
Smart Pairing™ sends information from the washer to the dryer and recommends the appropriate drying cycle. In other words, the washer can guide the dryer to select a compatible drying cycle.
What is the LG Quick Wash function?
LG’s TurboWash™ 360 technology helps deliver thoroughly cleaned clothes in under 39 minutes, tailored to your laundry needs. Five powerful jets spray water from multiple angles, while the Inverter Pump precisely controls spray power to help optimize washing performance.

What can a smart washer do?
LG washers use artificial intelligence to optimize washing motions based on each load. Deep-learning technology, built on extensive washing data, enables the washer to automatically detect fabric characteristics such as weight and softness. The result is enhanced fabric protection and better garment care. LG’s WiFi-enabled smart washer can also be controlled remotely via voice recognition or the LG ThinQ app. You can start cycles remotely, receive notifications when a load is complete, run Smart Diagnosis, and download customized cycles.

How does the Auto-dosing function work?
LG’s Automatic Dispenser allows you to pre-load detergent so the washer can handle dosing automatically. The system detects the weight of the laundry and dispenses the optimal amount of detergent each time.
This helps prevent over-dosing, saves time, and extends the life of your clothes. Proper detergent usage also helps maintain optimal washer performance.
The Automatic Dispenser can hold detergent for up to 31 loads when both compartments are filled with detergent. Results may vary depending on detergent amount and usage conditions.
What is the typical lifespan of a tumble dryer?
The lifespan of a dryer depends on factors such as product quality, frequency of use, and maintenance. Regular care is important to extend its life.
1. Clean around the filter before and after drying, and wash the Dual Lint Filter regularly.
2. Remove dust from inside the dryer and ventilate by slightly opening the door before and after use.
3. Use the Condenser Care and Drum Care functions to maintain internal components.
Which clothes should not go in the dryer?
Always check the care label on your clothing and follow the recommended drying instructions. Do not dry:
- Items with flammable substances such as wax, oil, paint, gasoline, solvents, or kerosene; electric blankets; carpets
- Heat-sensitive garments
How long does it take to dry clothes in a heat-pump dryer?
Drying time may vary depending on fabric type and load size.
1. Fabric type: Heavier fabrics like denim take longer than lighter materials like polyester.

- Tested by Intertek (January 2026), the dryer’s Allergy Care cycle removes 100% of Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (Live) based on a 3kg real-use test load.

5) AI Dry™
- Tested by Intertek in April 2026. Compared to the Cotton cycle, a reduction in drying time was observed with a 3 kg load of soft fabrics, and more even drying performance was confirmed for cotton-based laundry (RH18W5ZVKWP). Results may vary depending on weight, fabric types, and/or other conditions.
6) 6 Motion™ Dryer
- The Shrinkage Reduction course operates at a maximum load of 3 kg or less.
- It is optimized to help reduce fabric shrinkage through temperature control, low drying level, and six drying motions.
- Recommended for general cotton and everyday wear. As it does not use intensive drying, some water may remain.
- Tested by Intertek in April 2026. Compared to the Cotton cycle, over 35% shrinkage reduction was confirmed using 100% wool test fabric. Results may vary depending on fabric type, load size, and drying conditions.

Results may vary depending on clothing type and usage conditions.
