If your laundry is still too wet after a wash, or you just want to spin excess water out of hand-washed items, you can run a [Spin Only] cycle. Here's how to set it up.

Important

Do not turn the dial or press any other cycle buttons immediately after turning on the washer.
If a cycle is already selected, pressing the [Spin] button will only sound a beep and the washer will not start. If this happens, turn the washer off and back on, then start over.

FAQ

Q. The displayed spin time (for example, 18 minutes) seems too long. Can I shorten it?: A. The displayed time includes a balancing step. The drum rotates slowly to detect the load size and untangle your laundry. This prevents heavy vibration if the items are unevenly distributed. The actual high-speed spin is much shorter, so please allow the cycle to finish.

Q. I turned the washer on and pressed the [Spin] button, but it only beeps and won't start.: A. This happens because your washer defaults to the [Normal] cycle when you turn it on, and pressing other buttons can interfere with the settings. Turn the washer off and back on, then press only the [Spin] button. Do not touch the dial.

This guide is based on standard models. The settings menu may vary by model.
